GTAIV gets “Complete Edition”

Like most games with a boat-load of post-release content Grand Theft Auto IV is finally getting theirs. Amazon listed “The Complete Edition” for both Xbox 360 and PS3 due out on the 26th of this month. The Complete Edition is basically the main game along with with both “Episodes from Liberty City”: the Lost and Damned and the Ballad of Gay Tony, all wrapped up in one package for $40.

This might not be so appealing to those who’ve already purchased the game and both episodes but for anyone who slept on GTAIV now is a good time to pick the whole thing up at a very good price.

I hope this means that the, Episodes from Liberty City combo pak gets reduced in price.

  2. scourdx:
The standalone Episodes from Liberty City already drop to $20. I'll probably pick up the PC version.

  3. Mandingo:
Will this edition be worth anything?

  4. gurpswoo1:
Unless this will remain sealed it will be worthless, not really considered a collector's franchise espcially as it has so many releases and updates.

This edition I suspect will be worth the most out all of the prints prior. but not much more than retail price. it will take years.

  5. Mandingo:
I guess I will skip over this, then.

  6. gurpswoo1:
It's a good price for the game at the moment until the new one comes out.

I have always though that the GTA series was made for kids because of the ease of the controls and pointless story line.

Also most of my cousins have the game and they are under 18. LOL

  7. Mandingo:
Pokemon is made for kids, the GTA series have more mature storylines and themes, and so it is meant for mature audiences. Simpler controls just means the series aims to be more mainstream. Underage peoples are attracted to this series, yes, but it's precisely because it's because of GTA's trivial elements, like the car-jacking and prostitutes.
