Seriously thinking of cancelling after seeing it to be honest.

It looks kind of cool but in person it might be a bit of an ugly overpoweringly large lump of painted bronze plastic for such a relatively big price.

Don't know how many statues have gone the painted bronze look and actually looked decent in person but from my experience it's not many.
DId you cancel? I received it this week and I pretty much can confirm your concern. The statue is cool but not on level of the awesome polystone variety like my Creed collection. It is sort of cheapish floppy vinyl/plastic painted with bronze finish. Cool for my son's room but not $300 worth of cool. The lithos are nice and the steelbook is awesome but the goofy oversize ring thing is also cheapish plastic with hollow flat backside and three small magnets glued into back so it can be chill fridge deco or something. All in all probably feel better if it were $200 or less.

I saw unboxing from a EU Youtuber who apparently got a special limited to 100 version which had bigger statue (18" vs. 12") and the thing actually had an LCD screen with preprogrammed Orc talking to him. Not sure if that is a pres promo/dev gift type of thing or if that statue is high quality.

Cheers - JC

OH - and the Box is WAY TOO BIG for what's inside. Box graphics are cool but inside is basically massive hunk of Styro.

Yeah, I had this on pre-order but decided to cancel at the last minute. Wasn't a fan of the statue. I would've still pulled the trigger if it had a real steelbook instead of a metalpak, but sadly that wasn't the case.

Amazon.ca had the gold metalpak edition on sale for $89, so I just stuck with that.

Yeah, my gut instinct was screaming too loudly at me to ignore on this one.

On top of that I wasn't happy with all the lootbox crap and didn't feel comfortable supporting that in a single player game.

Sorry to hear that it isn't great though.

Yeah, not happy with that one either.... the quality looks meh at its best (probably not as bad as the Resident evil 7 one but still meh). Oh well, better learn now and move on... The main problem is that most of these collector editions ran out pretty fast and then there is not much time to cancel preorders... that being said, I guess it is a good idea to keep an eye on the reviews in order to get a chance of cancel it on time? haha

I am sort of new to the forum, so I am not sure if it is in place already, but would be nice to post here links to the reviews as soon as you find one?

I think most of the time people generally do but for an actual review of the editions the problem can be that often you'll only find them from people after the game's come out.

If we're lucky we might get some kind of early unboxing.
