that to me is weird..one market the figurine is just solid plain silver..while another market it's totally painted..i wonder what the decision making process is like when these decisions are made!

You're wrong. It's the normal figurine in stores, the silver one is limited and only available through the Bandai Namco store.

The silver one is ugly AF and this is yet another ultra expensive CE for the contents it brings. Probably thanks to the Season Pass. I'll pass.
