Mirror's Edge Catalyst

Seems like our predictions were correct and the majority of companies appear to be releasing "more expensive" (relatively speaking) CEs. This is the 3rd or 4th CE announced this year that appears WAY overpriced for what you actually get in it and there are many that appear to have moved up to or past the previous $120 tier to the "new" $160-$250 without any noticeable addition in quantity or quality. Very sad.

Anyway, more on topic - this CE looks pretty sweet but I've never played the original(s?) so will pass on this one too methinks.

And the content which you'd think is driving up the price, like the statue, is often complete shit. Not to mention that these "new" 160-250 CE's are rarely actually limited.

This will be at least 250 in Canada, no chance I buy it.

Too bad about the price and statue manufacturer. This would've been cool to own. Perhaps they will produce too many and it will be $99 a couple months after release.

Even if the statue quality is ok, the design sucks imo. Given the gameplay of mirror's edge, if you're going to make a faith statue, why would it just be her sitting casually?

I'm going to pass on this overpriced CE unless I can find another one with an actual running bag in it.

Honestly I like the Statue it seems to tell her story in such a deep manner. That's mainly what lead me to get it. Simple but tells soo much.
