Well from what I can tell, the case hasn't got any rating logos on it at all, so you could always buy the case and swap the contents from your regional variation.

You could even buy a batch of these from the UK, and make a nice little business for yourself swapping them with the contents from the US version and reselling them there in the States

I wonder if the person buying it knew it was only the box and if they read the listing correctly?

Perhaps it was an overseas bidder who can't order from the GAME website? Maybe it's a hardcore Zelda fanboy who thought they were rare because of the lack of copies for sale on eBay at the time? Maybe they just thought these had sold out already?

It would be nice if this price sticks though. Still debating whether or not to pre-order another batch and sit on them for a while...
