i got a hardened edition of MW2 sealed for £20 so why pay release price..its a dumb move by anybody, sorry
and limited to a retailer like Game dont mean anything, this will be a plenty in abundance

That 1 year Elite Membership just kills this edition, not everyone wants to get onboard that ship just yet.

It's also hard to predict of when these things will go on sale for about a quarter of their price, you'd have to be on the look out at many retailers and online stores....or you just get lucky

I wanna see how much they want for the Prestige Edition when they announce it next week. Probably around £139.99???

lol no they (MW2) have been on ebay since 2009...ive seen auctions go less than £20 aswell....there are loads and MW3 will be no different im in no hurry to own an edition produced in the 100,000's

You have a good point, we should have confidence in one another as I consider our type of forums to be the l33t of most things CE. We should be able to predict what's hot and what can wait until it gets cheaper

MGS HD UC has been the fastest special edition I have seen this year!

Just checked and saw the both the Black Ops HE and Prestige available and on sale prices at some local retail stores here.

Actually, Eb was flogging off old prestige editions for 130 bucks.
Code for 130, traded in game for 45.

Made money and Prestige edition contents!

Well unfortunately Infinity Ward was messing with us and didn't tell us. There will be no gas mask. There will only be ONE collector's edition. The hardened edition. Elite is for online crap, and if any downloads come around, i.e. guns or maps, you will get the for free. Way to go Infinity Ward and screw us of a prestige edition..

I picked up one of them at the time. I already had the Hardened Edition, but I sold the one that came with the Prestige. Basically got the car and everything else for next to nothing.

In regards to the MW3:HE, the Elite membership does nothing for me, I don't play that much MP. If that could be taken out and the pack purchased for $30-$40 cheaper I'd be all over it like a fat kid at an all you can eat buffet!

I love the steelbook, and I want the HE to go with my MW2 & Black Ops ones, but I'll be waiting till someone drops the price. I've got plenty to keep me occupied in the meantime.
