Well that is not true yes it will sell but we do not know if it will sell out. Let me take Advent children complete Japanese that can with a ff13 demo well that was so overly expensive compared to normal collectors editions that it didnt sell much or hardly any at all till it went 75%+ down in price but buy that time most people interested I think just stoped carring. Iv seen it with other Japanese video games as well unless its extreamly limited to just preorder only they could have extras for a while. With this while a nice idea its better targeted at people into lether Jackets rather then video games ethusiast because they are probably used to paying these kinda prices for there jackets but the average game collector is just not willing to pay these kinda prices for something like this. Unless your some super mega hardcore collector and have to have it all and have the money i dout its going anywhere. I meen even some of the rarest games in existence do not reach these value or do but theres a reason for it there a lot more limited and hard to find then this would ever be. Take games like Stadium Events on nes or Magical Chase on turbo graphics there probably less of those then the number of these that will be produced but even then only super mega hardcore collectors or gota have them all or the rare people who get lucky at a cheap price even average collectors keep those kinda items out of there reach.

Lol not about being stupid at all. Its all about if you got the money and are willing to pay for and want it badly enough or are you patiant enough to wait to get it cheaper much cheaper. That is like calling people going after full nes collections stupid. Just because someone is willing to buy such an expensive item does not make them stupid it ether means they just have crap ton of money or they saved like hell to buy this one thing.

I'm talking more... in general about the "have it all" mentality. Like buying a toothbrush, condoms, etc etc etc, because there's a "Mario face" in there and you are a hardcore/stupid completionist.

Well gladly I can say I'm not that severe, I do like collecting items within a series like Resi, Final Fantasy & Metal Gear but going to the extreme and trying to collect everything... nah maybe all the games but not all the extra crap.

I try to collect CE's because I enjoy doing it, to myself the have it all mentality would do more harm than good.

Not that there is anything wrong with it I have seen some awesome collections out there but they do pretty much take up all your time if you need to track down that 1 obscure item.
