^ Those have been out for a while so it's weird they're popping up on news sites again. I'm honestly a bit disappointed in the current figures. They're not visually amazing like their FF figures tend to be (naturally).

These were released last year (actually, Jude will just come out) but they're so gorgeous that it'd be a pity if more people can't know about them.

Never heard of these before, will be interested in seeing how these turn out.

On a side note, wouldn't cluttering all the figure news in 1 thread defeat the purpose of this new sub-forum? Soon, it will be just cluttered with updates with no real discussion?
I dunno.. I was asking for a new sub-forum where each thread can focus on 1 figure or at least a line of figures.. (eg: 1 Thread for Neca Assassin's Creed figures, 1 thread of DC Direct Batman Arkham figures, 1 thread for PlayArts figures). Cluttering all figure news into 1 thread defeats the purpose and wouldn't have warranted a new subforum, could have easily been done in a General Collecting Chat.

Just my 2 cents.. wonder what the rest thinks...

I agree, Veron. One thread makes it much harder to discuss the items shown aswell, so seperate threads for each "brand" for example, would be much better. Maybe even like:

NECA Figures thread.
Sideshow Collectibles thread.
Hot Toys thread.

etc, etc.

Then, if a single new figure/statue is announced, it gets added into the appropriate thread, but could maybe also get a standalone thread to spread awareness. Old figures/statues wouldn't need a single thread of their own, since they'll be more known anyway, and can just be discussed in their "brand" thread.

Then obviously, people can open threads of their own to discuss certain items (not a different thread for every item possible, though, that'd get silly). So, maybe if there's a manufacturing flaw in one of your figures, open a thread to see if it's a common problem, etc.

Edit: Yea and maybe the popular ones and items of certain concern can get their own thread.. Sounds Good!

I'd say maybe the first few posts to try and keep everything together, you can also hold a few posts after the first post by posting the word "Reserved", also, the 30 image per post limit won't get exceeded if pics are posted in spoilers (so posts could be much longer that way :D)

So like:

New figure name
by blahblahblah company
RRP
Limited/not limited (if limited, limited to what)
Preorder information
Etc

then images below in a spoiler xx

I think 30 Pics is enough for sideshow, Hottoys/Firefigures or the other high quality manufactures

when the Statues/Figures sold then we can delete them

Or did you want all Statues/Figures not only for games ?

I wouldn't delete them once they are out of their preorder allocation/sold out. I'd keep them in here for future reference.

I'd also stick to just game releases, since it'd get out of control if we just had everything.

That way, if someone buys a statue/figure that's non game related, they could always start their own thread, just to discuss it/see if anybody else has it xx

I agree, dont delete the old pics, will be good for reference. If we stick to gaming related, there shouldnt be too many.

If it does go above, we can make a new thread for 2014. I'll make one for NECA now, see if you guys are ok wth it.

Made some threads for 4 toy companies that have quite fair a bit of gaming figures. If you guys are ok with the format, I can help maintain these threads and updates but do feel free to contribute in all ways.

Hope I dont seem like I'm trying to do things my way.. just wanna share my love for figures with all here :D

Lol, but lack of space and super high shipping costs to Singapore are probably the reasons why I haven't given it a more serious thought..
