Are you able to help me with something? I've been trying to order from games only - something else - and it says they offer paypal but when I go to checkout it does not offer paypal. If I try a card it says that it does not complete then asks me to pay by bank transfer but my bank charges a heap for that... :(

Any idea how I pay by paypal or are you able to ask them how international buyers should pay please??

As far as i'm aware Red, that Austrian retailer ships within Europe only so your covered, at least they used to back in the good old days of 2011. No idea on these weird overseas payment methods though, some of these sites are a real pain to order from at times.

Update from my friend in Mexico..

He has asked about the steelbooks and, sadly, unlike AC3 the steels will be released only when the game is collected so you have to buy the game to get the steel...

The game is 999 Mexican pesetas which is about 50gbp

He is happy to help anyone who wants to order this way but says he doesn't understand why anyone wold want the ugly US style game when we can have the European ones - but then he likes out editions best on the whole!!

I'm not a gamer so I dont know much about this world but I have helped a fellow member to get these ones.

Definitive at this time Dead Space 3 and Crysis 3 will be practically impossible to find since as commented in previous posts without the pre order SteelBook is impossible to get, this rule is very hard on all stores, giving some "tip" to clerks no way!!, cases are registered in system and only pre order tickets can liberate the delivery to customer once he/she purchase the game $900 mxn ($99 preorder credit) on pick up.

All G2s no inside art.

But yeah, you all would need to pay for the game, shipping from Mexico to me, then shipping from me to you, as well as a little bit of money for my guy in Mexico. It would probably be way too expensive for anyone to actually care. The game alone is like $80usd.

I still got the Omega Edition steelbook I have seen on ebay in mexiko (got a different name can't remember) you can get the omega steelbook for 50 Dollar.
Austria will get an Army of Two steelbook, too and Gamestop Sweden or maybe Gamestop from Northern Europe will get one of the Army of Two steelbooks from mexiko.

Yes is ture, cases were ordered only for the ones who made pre order on time.

Each game cost is $999 mxn ($78.62 USD, 59 Euros, 51.84 GBP)

In my last week experience and tour, friendly advise, first call stores in order to secure getting case, if not you will be driving all over city empty hands (happened to me with mixup ugly tin), wasting gas and paying parking lots, cost here in Monterrey is $15 mxn ($1 USD)

That is not fair they nearly always got sunshine and a lot of good-looking women, I have to live in a country where it's often cold and the most women don't look good enough that it makes me feel warm all over if I see them and then I can't get those steelbooks which will make me a little bit happier.:D

Its been that way for years. My company always charges almost triple the price on consumables having to be shipped to Mexico. Thats the only way they can cover all the losses.

I will say on the behalf of my contry that:

Yes many years ago Correos de M?xico (goverment postal office) has a extemely bad reputation even that one time it was published a package for the very president was open and some things stolen from it in that point they changed in a very good way I must say, obviously.

In my personal experience sending locally or international since 3 years ago I use this service at least for 1 o 3 packages daily never been involved on stolen packages or an open one, indeed some returns but nothing in the bad situation, I use the registered service (trackeable) because is the only option for international or EMS high cost but never extremely expensive as DHL or UPS, I have sent boxes containing 30+ collectible editions as Disney coins or digibook or steelbooks and all arrived safe. Unfortunately insurance is not available with any service.

The bad situation is that ALL packages goes to M?xico City for customs inspection when go interational and this gives a long delay to get out of country.

We are a very good country but as all over the world some abusive people goes the worng way to see us.

I'm not trying to put down your country. I love it there and have visited many places from Reynosa, Monterrey, Cancun, Mexico City and been to see Teotihuacan. I got to climb the pyramid there once. At the time they said they were about to quit letting people climb it. There is definitely way to many steps. The scuba diving at the reef outside of Cancun is something I'll never get enough of. I just haven't been back since the storm a few years ago that destroyed so much.

As far as items that go missing I'm not directly involved with that. I just know that when we have an inspector in Mexico and they need more supplies than what they took with them then whomever they are working for gets charged way more than they should. I've always been told it was due to so many items that come up missing. Maybe it is different now and my company just hasn't quit charging the extra.

I didn't doubt that this steelbook is G2-size, I know that gamestop in northern europe got the steelbook with the same design like the polish G1-size crysis 3 steelbok but also in G2-size for the ps3-version and gamestop in nothern europe will get one of the three mexican army of two steelbooks (the one with skull) as pre-order bonus for ps3 and xbox360 version, too.

Well I noticed the Crysis steels (although that's what gave me deja vu) were G2 but I just got a DS3 mexican steel thinking it would be G1..because I had seen a G1.

Nope! Two are G1 only, three are G2 only. Crysis 3 runs into a similar issue. This is annoying for me because I have these games on 360, and yet I have three G2 steels of each. Oh well, this is a first world problem in the truest sense of the phrase. haha :bunny:

Shouldn't it technically be 5 actual 'different' ones? It was my understanding that the EU G2 is the exact same as the POL G1, except for size, whereas the MX G2 is actually a different steelbook.

Late I have found that indeed Blockbuster had the 3rd art for this game, this is the only case I have seen around the web or locally at stores.
