I would never be able to afford every edition of a game that I liked.

Takes a lot of willpower for me to just pick a favourite.

I would prefer games come in a standard/premium/ultra type format. Premium has just a few neat things, but the ultra comes with everything (of course that would go with an ultra price as well).

REALLY want that Zombie Bait edition though. I don't think it's coming anywhere near Canada, however.

Yep it's kind of hit or miss as to what Amazon UK ships to the US though as I believe they wouldn't ship the Playstation All Stars Battle Royale Steelbook edition to the US

It's nuts with Dead Island...the problem is that the bits are quite cool (well certainly I think so) so you end up wanting something from one CE and something else from another!

I've got the steelbook so I'm going to get the Czech edition as I really want the lighter...I'm tempted by the EB edition for the handbook (I'm a sucker for these types of items).

He told me, that it will be original Steelbook (not metalpack or something like that) It will be shipped to Czech Republic from publisher and it is not exclusive only for Xzone and Czech Republic but will be available in several countries.

Once again I've been contacting Scanavo regarding steelbooks :haha: They told me that there is only ONE design of steelbook for Dead Island Riptide (the blue one), and it is G1 only.

So the one from XZone is either the same blue steelbook from everywhere else, or it ain't a steelbook :) xx

I haven't gotten around to playing the first Dead Island but man oh man have I heard about its bugginess from pretty much everyone and anyone that ever played it (that I know)

Anyways seems like the same with Riptide which is sad as a lot of the basic game elements should be there already

Mine came with a faintly white mark on the front - a square. I'm sure it's just a print mistake. It isn't very noticeable. A few very minor bends on the edge, but it still looks pretty sweet. :)

Just received my Zombie Bait Edition, and the slipcover DOES have the Xbox 360 band around it.

However, when the slipcover comes off, the box is unbranded, so I believe that any "PS3" copies that are kicking about are actually just swap outs. As the unboxing that was posted a few pages back of a PS3 version, didn't have a slipcover if I remember correctly (although the video has now conveniently been removed from YouTube :facepalm:) xx

Funny you mention that, mine was a bit old looking, almost like it'd been sitting gathering dust for ages. I'm sure you all know what I mean by that but stuff like bits being a little faded and it's a teensy bit rough looking. (Although maybe they have, I just spotted on the back of my steelbook it says 2012.)

Also if you look you can see what looks like where the box might have went through rollers on a conveyor.

The paint's a bit chipped on the right bikini cup but rather than trying to send something this size I think I can make an exception and pretend it's intentional roughing up.

Overall I like it, it's different although for how little you get with just the bust, a steelbook, an artcard and game I'm glad I didn't pay ?90 for it, the ?70 I paid seems much more reasonable.

mate me order was fine box statue the lot, as for price point it may not seem like a lot for your money but the statue must suck a lot of the cost

Considering the original retail price I would have liked to have seen the (Pardon the pun) bust be more distinctive, rather than just a sticker overlay.

Maybe included another colour skin tone or other demographic variations more reflective of that particular country incorporated into the detail :thumb:
