Defiance Deluxe, Ultimate & Collector's Edition announced

Today, publisher Trion Worlds announced several editions for their upcoming game Defiance.

If you find yourself asking: "What it Defiance?? ? You should read the following lines.

"Defiance is the first multi-platform shooter MMO, that in a ground-breaking entertainment experience, interconnects with a global television program on Syfy. The game combines the intense action of a console third-person shooter, with the persistence, scale, and customization of an MMO, while its TV counterpart exudes the scope, story, and drama of a classic sci-fi epic.? The game will be released for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 in April 2013. At the same time Defiance ?- The Show will begin airing on SyFy.

3 Editions have been announced but only two of them are actually physical.

Hi,

Can someone clarify for me whether or not this is cross platform play? I know it won't be cross platform PS3 vs Xbox, but they have the game running cross platform in development. I know a good chunk of PC gamers and as such I am hoping with an xbox version of the game I can keep playing with them.

All I can find online is that in development that they have it working across all 3 platforms on the same server, but what makes it through to the final version seems to be little.

Any help would be appreciated.

I was looking at that mate, have Amazon made a mistake with there listing? The Defiance Ultimate Edition on Amazon.co.uk is only ?60.00

Not to answer for someone else but Germany is very into bank transfers for everything

Not surprising for german members to be without credit cards as they're almost unneeded

Probably harder to get a cc in Germany then other places because of it

Suks though because everyone on ebay.de only accepts bank transfers :(

International bank transfers from US are very expensive

Well as Swift already mentioned .... you don't need a CC in germany most things are handeled by debit payments. But in times like this i miss it. The most things i handle with paypal - even tho paypal is evil.

Never felt an urgent need for a cc so I didn't asked for one at my bank. Aamazon.de is fine with debit. I also never ordered in other countries :nosleep: untill now (or i just oreded it with a friend who got a cc)

It had a pretty big stall at Gamescom, and a giant one of those bug statues haha. I got my photo taken with the big statue and a scantily clad model girl :P xx

well i actually think this game won't rock that much. As for trion their products never where actually great. Rifft and end of nations where quit crap (my opinion).

Warface (coop with crytek has not been released yet) and defiance will come soon. At the moment i think defiance could be some fun but seems to have a lack of features - guess it will get boring really fast =/ The really interessting thing is the comination with that tv-series ...gnah we'll see hpe i'm wrong so there would be some fun until ESO comes out :>
