View Full Version : WiiU Premium ZombiU edition.
Hi everyone,
I couldn't seem to find this anywhere else on the forum, so thought I'd post it up.
I purchased on launch the WiiU ZombiU Limited Edition Premium pack.
http://manmountaindesigns.co.uk/images/ubpics/wiiu/w1.jpg
This edition came with exclusive artwork on the packaging, a pro controller bundled in the box, and an extra wired dock for the WiiU GamePad.
There are a lot of photos on the link below including some comparison shots with a Xbox 360 controller and the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 Slim consoles.
So check out the unboxing here. (http://manmountaindesigns.co.uk/index.php/games/unboxing/118-nintendo-wii-u-unboxing)

Hi,
This is why I was quite hesitant to post this. I spent a lot of time googling to try and determine whether or not it is genuinely limited edition (as the box states).
It's basically a glorified bundle, nice box and a few extras.

I think its only limited if it has something special, like the 3ds zelda limited edition with special art on the 3ds itself (and different color), or like the ps3 japanese limited editions consoles (one piece, ni no kuni etc)

this pack was "limited", but ppl just really wanted this pack cuz it was the only pack with the new Nintendo classic controller afaik. even tho it say - Limited Edition - i think there will be no new produced boxes. In the future they might be a bit rare
And yes it was/is lame that's this is just the standard black wii u .... some bloodspoils on it would have been nice *sigh* it's fsk 18 in germany *grmpf*
Hi Guys,
I agree really... They could have done a lot with it - even a simply change to the 'U' part of the logo on the console to match the box art. But at the very least it's a limited edition bundle with unique box art, so I guess it's better to have it listed here than not.
I'd like to see Nintendo produce some WiiUs in the same style as some of their awesome limited edition consoles. I have the Pikachu N64 sat at home and it's a prized piece of my collection!

Maybe something better comes out at that time, there's really nothing much special about this edition except for the box, but that's it.

Hi Twisted,
It did get pretty poor reviews from a lot of places... but in all honesty, I couldn't tell you why... It's a really good game... it certainly has it's flaws, and it does suffer from being a launch title... but all in all I'd give it a solid 7 out of 10!

Zombi U is a really great game and i really can't understand all the bad reviews at all. oO besides it could be more scary than it is it's really nice if you die you lose all ur stuff untill you kill your old zombified self. Ths zombie can als take part in other games <3 great feature in my opinion.

The bad reviews were made just before the release date, i would guess they barely played the games, probably on the easiest difficulty, i really can't agree on some opinions they made, just after the release date reviews started getting positive.
Imo i'm not taking reviews from Gamespot and IGN too seriously anymore, depends how the review has been written of course.
Hi,
This will be of interest to anyone getting a WiiU - there is a new ZombiU bundle coming out - the same as the one I have detailed, only it will come with an Artbook and a copy of NintendoLand aswell.
Check out the details here (http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/02/08/zombiu-invades-wii-u-deluxe-set)

High unlikely it will be released in Europe since we already got a ZombiU pack. Hope we get a special kind of bundle when The Wind Waker HD releases though. ;)
