It looks good and seems to be like the Far Cry 3 Wish You Where Here Edition where is is packaged in an outer box. Wonder if they'll do the same thing and offer it as a pre-order bonus aswell.

Ebgames AUS has the Red Son skins, but no bonus steelbook (and only for standard copies) i'm hoping this comes to JB HiFi as a last minute bonus like the AC3 steelbook.

Steelbook is exclusive to EB as a 'Special Edition' like FC3, we won't see this coming to JB at all unfortunately :(

The worst was arkham city, no case for the game in the steelbook or collectors edition! In the end I traded the extra copy into eb to avoid the hassle

i still have two copies of Halo Wars CE unopened that I'd intended to trade but forgot that they were packed in the steelbook. Arkham City was dreadful, but at least they released the cover art as a printable format so all you needed was spare case.

As far as I can tell, the game will come in a standard amaray case separate to the steelbook in a box ala Far Cry 3 WYWH edition.

I preordered mine online with pickup in store. That's how I do all my EB preorders, works great! :thumb:

The game won't be packaged seperately, it will be inside the steelbook, so that would mean that they have no case for the game xx

Undecided. I really like it, but I'm already getting both the UK and US CEs (and I want the US Stick but can't afford it). If I have ?45 to spare on release, I might go for it, but at the same time, that ?45 is probably better off going to something else, since I'll be getting two copies of this game anyway.

I've preordered for now just incase, although I don't really see this selling out. But I'll see nearer the time how my finances are (got a loooot to pay for soon :rotf:)

Do you think the Red Steel steelbook will be available in October? I was thinking I could get it with money from my birthday (already saving up for the EU CE) but I'm worried that it'll be gone by the time.

Hmm, hard to say. I mean it's a long time between April and October. Depends how mass produced it is, tbh. I'm betting it won't sell out before release, but you never know with these things now, unfortunately xx
