Hey everyone!
today I suddenly remembered that last time I updated my show off thread was about two months ago. but meanwhile many boxes came to my house and I decided to start collecting editions for Farcry too!
I was also reminded that in my last thread didn't talk at all about myself, so I'll do now :)
my name is Giacomo, my friends call me Jack or Jak so this became my nick, i'm a 17 old guy hoping to get as soon as possible to 18. I live in Rome, Italy and I think it's the best city in the world: I lived in New York for one year and visited many european and asian cities but my very home is Rome, one mile outside the city I feel myself like a stranger.

the first time I played Assassin's creed was about five years ago, when I got the iphone game (AC altair's chronicles) for free and played it a long time. I didn't liked it so much, but later I casually found a gameplay video of AC2. I fell il love with it, I liked so much how italian cities were represented. so I bought online the first two games and started playing and playing all the day. when brotherhood came out I had preordered it months before so more days in my bedroom playing.
some time later all three games were 100% completed without any mission place or anything else undone, so I wanted to get more from those games and gave a look to collectors editions. my first one was the AC1 limited with big figure, my mom payed it 200 for me as a present for my good marks at school. that was my starting point but since that day I never payed more than those 200 euro for one edition, first of all because I had no enough money in my pocket and then because, still today, I believe it makes no sense paying more than that for a cardboard box with some gadgets inside.
anyway when I became 16 I had the opportunity to get money by my own, right now I'm happily cashing 200 euro per month which are all spent in boxes for my collection...
because of this limited availability of money I started looking for unknown stuff more than wanted and overpriced items, or if I have to get one I never look where everybody else looks. right now I'm trying to get all asian and russian editions of the franchise, I usually pay 20-30 euro for them so this way I can easily afford stuff probably more rare than a press kit or this kind of items.

yep it's the russian version of the codex but has a ring binding instead of hardcover... can't say if text inside is the same but think so...

mostly japanese stuff called "Japanese with English Manual Edition", it's a kind of packaging made for many games and it's just a nice cover box, another white cardboard box inside, game in jewel case and the manual. what I can't figure out is that the manual is in japanese not english but who cares...

unfortunately I missed Black chest edition when it was in preorder, but i'm getting parts of it all around europe so in a month I'll hopefully have the complete edition :)

nope i am not at all, i just use my old camera, tripod and my lovely blue sofa :P
there aren't different version of the steel, but all others are without slipcase and unsealed. this is also the only retail version

it's a Canon a620. a good camera but quite old, i own it since 6 or 7 years ago. max resolution and a tripod and you get those pics :)

Here school is 5 years for elementary, 3 for middle and 5 of high school. You come out of it usually when you are 18 and totally bored of studying.
About ac4 pk i kept waiting until last ebay auction ended without bids then i sent a direct offer to the seller. And my offer was accepted :)

you're perfectly right mate, i've re uploaded all today pics in a better size (now it's 1600x1200, usually I go with 3072x2304). hope now they are more affordable ;)

i haven't found any sure info about this, but the fact it is a press kit like the Crimson book and probably less than 10 were produced. i searched on the web and asked a guy i know who is a reviewer, and he received the same package as pk for Ac3, with different items inside http://i45.tinypic.com/w7otag.jpg
so I can't figure out if they used that box for different kits, and each one could be unique, or there were others like mine produced... at least I'm sure it is not a fake: every new videogame published here in italy has got a sticker on the case from a copyright company except press copies, my pk has in bundle the Da Vinci edition and it's sealed, without the sticker.

it says that "Ubisoft", it's logo and "Assassin's Creed" are trademarks of Ubisoft Entertainment in the US and other countries, no more. as far as i know this same writing is printed on every AC franchise related item, from any country.
