A long time coming

First off, let me apologise for not introducing myself earlier. I have been a part of these forums for a while now but for one reason or another I never got around to doing a formal introduction of myself until now, so here goes...

I'm a gamer from Australia, married with two boys. My wife and myself run our own small computer IT business dealing mainly in service, but also do sales and installations.

I have been hooked on computers since I was around 10 (35 now) when my mum bought me a Commodore 64. I can still remember having to load cassette tapes which took nearly an hour just to play a game! :nosleep:

I've had pretty much every console over the years but never really started seriously collecting until the current generation of consoles. I favour the Xbox 360, but I also have a PS3 which I rarely use. I try to buy the CE editions of games I really want, those I'm not too fussed about I just get the standard copy.

Besides games & CE's, I also collect gaming figurines, strategy guides and steelbooks amongst other misc stuff. I've only just started collecting a few games to keep sealed, the rare ones I have are Demon's Souls Deluxe Edition and the recently aquired Dead Space Ultra Limited Edition, which is my most treasured piece now.

I haven't gotten around to taking any photos yet, I'll try to in the near future, but anyways, hello. :wave: I'm happy to be here.

btw, this isn't all I have in my collection. As I've been into gaming for nearly 25 years as expected I've accumulated a fair bit of stuff. Some of which I've gotten rid of over the years, but the rest (mostly older consoles and games), is stuffed on top of my son's cupboards. :P
