I think it would be great if they started incorporating Augmented Reality (AR) in to these types of books. The Journey art book has an awesome AR feature.

It looks like an awesome book already though. I'm gonna have to pinch some pennies and get one.

"Fixed" in that we looked into it and realized the shitty rates you're paying are still less than what we're being charged by our fulfillment company and actual freight....

If we could do more and better, we definitely would. Also, I can promise you we have multiple employees looking into alternatives constantly. This is just a grim reality because the books are so damn heavy.

No, this was inadvertently reverted. Scrambling to fix it, but PM me your order number and I can manually fix the order before it ships.

Edit: This is fixed. Since these are all pre-sales, I'm going to go back and fix them all by hand. Haven't seen a new order come in since I pushed the fix, so I can't confirm it, but I'm confident they'll come over as Book now. On the off chance I'm wrong, I'll just have more to clean up by hand I guess....

Edit 2: Confirmed fixed for new incoming orders as well. Everyone should have theirs marked as Book.

On the site it says:

The note is still there, so I think you're good. Not sure how fast these are selling, but if you really want it signed I wouldn't wait too long...

It would cost me 80 dollar for book, 50 dollar for shipping, custom cost is 15 dollar + 20 dollar vat, so 165 dollar. Which is double of what it would cost for someone from usa.

And although i really like dragon age (1), this is just way to expensive (although the 80 dollar for the book seems fair).

Still have to replace my broken ps3, waiting for some funds from a sale, have now all these new games (tr, god of war) i cant even play :(

How the heck is it that much?! Shipping is $50 USD?? And what's custom cost?

custom cost is what the postal company charges me (13 euro), to collect the money (which is often less than this 13 euro). So its really bad, you pay more administative cost than the actual VAT.

They sold out within 48 hours of availability. The website stated that.

"Note: The 500 signed pieces have been claimed, but the book is still a hefty and impressive collectible without the little bit of extra ink on it...."

Mine doesn't say anything on the treehouse website. I checked on DHL, I think that's who they ship with, but it doesn't recognise the tracking number :(

What I've been wondering is if the unsigned edition comes with the lithograph. I haven't read anything to clarify either way.

Mine has been shipped, can't wait to get it. Read some good reviews of it.

So the first 500 of 1,500 are signed but the signature is on the lithograph. So does that mean the other 1,000 don't have a signed litho or no litho at all?

First 500 come with signed litho, remaining 1000 come with unsigned litho

Just got my book. First off, packaging was perfect. Double bubblewrapped in a box with a little room to spare in case of a drop.

The clamshell is huge! I'd compare it to the size of the Titan exclusive slipboxes but 2x fatter.

Packaging was perfect. Double bubble wrapped, no chance of any damage unless a streamroller would run over it.

Few notes first:

It was VERY hard to open. It felt as if the glue was pulling apart from the box itself.
My lithograph was damaged right out of the packaging. This happened by whoever handled the litho placing it in the portfolio.

Love the packaging and design. The portfolio even came bowtied. Unfortunately my litho is ruined and even if it is replaced, the portfolio will ruin the next one. In the last picture you'll see the flap on the lower left is not flush whereas the other corners are. Because of the placement (it's glued on), it warped the lithograph since it would not be laid flat.

I'm definitely impressed with this book. I can't recommend it enough. It's jam packed with content and the presentation of the overall package is superb.
It would have been better if the binding and clamshell were made of real leather as opposed to the faux leather; and an Augment Reality (AR) feature would have put this book over the top. But for the price and overall good quality, you can't really knock this book!

lmao EXACTLY. Now if you notice or writing, it seemed like she connects every letter and number. Connecting a 1 with a 3 is impossible so it seems like she did a little lazy loop thing to connect it. So maybe 130 as you say haha

They sell 500 - x copies and keep x copies on hand in case of replacements

But they don't always necessarily do that

Honestly I think that's a 180 but hard to tell on first number

Clearly looks more like a 6 but I assume the artist or whoever signed it understands fractions :scratch:

Looks like it's "68E". That's clearly a 6, but this edition is limited to 500 units so I really don't know. "68", "68e"

I think your new number is 484. If you tilt your head to the right slightly, you can see that they're 4s, not 6s xx

I wrote Bioware today to let them know it came in and asked them what number it was. Their reply "my best guess is it's 484". :ok:

I am curious, was there ever a volume 2 after this? I just saw the Art of Wolfenstein up at Bioware and it reminded me I had this on my shelf, hoping for a matching volume 2.

When did they ever go out of stock?

Someone from BioWare was just down this week and a second volume came up in conversation. I didn't get any sense of a date, but it's definitely being worked on up there.
