Hello from a Collector from Germany

Hello Community,

I stumbled upon this Forum yesterday when I was on a look for information on a Artbook from BioShock: Infinite. Haha.

I am a 25 year old female from North Germany. And I have been a Collector for about 4 years. BioShock was the one that caught my heart from the very beginning. :-)
I'm now focussing more on BioShock (a little bit of a few other things, too. But BioShock is the most important one for me).

And yeah, I think I'm ready. At least I hope! I'm sure there is a lot. And I totally forgot to add the Limited Cel Lithograph from AC IV. I've got that one as well.

I was very lucky with the Pewter Figures. Those aren't really selling anymore it seems? The last two auctions I had on my list on eBay were 30 australian dollars but no one bid. And a while earlier they were going for around 60 australian dollars. I hope you'll get those soon though :-)

Hello and welcome Deathound. It seems we have some things in common: I basically started collecting with BioShock (also my first ps3 game). Then I moved onto AC!

I'm really not sure how much worth the Cardboard thing would be in my opinion. I got it together with the Assassin's Creed III Pewter Figures. It was part of the auction and got it for 30 australian dollars as no one else bid. So it was more luck with the Cardboard for me.

I didn't even know it was that rare before I read a few posts here on the forum

Luckily, my dad has a big car though there was no place for another person anymore after we loaded the Big Daddy.

There is not much for moving. :p
For now he stands in a room all by himself, the only one he fit in. He takes up a lot of space

For some reason Germany is full of statues at 1:1 scale, is also likely where there are more statues of Metal Gear 1:1 scale ^_^

My wishlist is very long and so I have to focus the money. Latest entry on the list is a lobby poster from Turkey (Alien - Yaratik) that would be an expensive buy.

So "Aliens" items will have to wait and in the meantime I adore the collections of others...:D

I had a short phonecall with TitanExclusive/TitanBooks about this book today. I wanted to know about preordering and was told the book is already sold out.:S

For a second I was disappointed. Well, not a 100% disappointed as 150 GBP is a lot of money to spend. And that is the point with this edition, I had a very close third look at it and in my opinion it is TOO MUCH MONEY for what you are going to get.

The book is the long existing one, it got a new outer cover, a clamshell, three Illustrations from R.Scott and a signature with number. The price of the regular edition is 35 GBP, so the limited edtion price has increased close to 430%!

My 2 cents: Be happy for the money you saved and buy the upcoming NECA Powerloader, Ripley and Bishop so your Aliens Queen ist no getting depressions being all alone...:D
