So I have, in my hands, the UK edition of Injustice Gods Amongst Us
2 days before UK release (17 Apr in NA, 19 Apr in EU)

a bit of a rush now, but here's my really quick unboxing

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance ARTBOOK COMPARISON gamestop vs E-capcom

On the top is the one from E-capcom, from the contents of the Japanese Limited Edition.

On the bottom is the one given as a preorder bonus from gamestop.com

Direct comparison shows that both are of the same size and contents. Artwork is identical.

EXCEPT that the Japanese one is GLOSSY while the North American one is MATT.

By accident, I have discovered that the Riptide steels were made in 2 batches

They were of the same art of course, but had subtle differences.

The one on the left was from the Polish CE, whilst the one on the right was from the UK Zombie Bait edition.

The one on the left has a more silver sheen, while the one on the right was more bronze.

PL Deep Silver logo is well, Silver:

UK logo is Bronze, the rain effect cuts through over the logo on the top left, while this does not happen on the PL steel.

It says Austria, so I'm guessing Austria, UK and maybe other countries in EU might have gotten this version. The text also looks bronze-ish.

This probably means the distribution was varied across the globe.... main difference being the base ink of either silver or bronze...

There was a huge batch last year for preorders so leftovers were probably included in some CEs. Nothing goes to waste :taunt:

oh no, I had to upload either a photo or video, then I got an email that I won :) There were a few hundred submissions though....

just took my time going to the Sony store and paid up...

And re: the camera stand, yes it seems like it's packed in the brown shipping box, but so far I've only heard of US and Canadian sets coming with it. UK didn't get anything.

Just to share, if anybody wondered how it looks like.

Steelbooks are falling in favour recently, but I think I still enjoy collecting them.
