First 4 Figures just recently revealed their teaser trailer for their upcoming Ryo Hazuki statue from Shenmue. It's gonna be the first in their line of "Sega All Stars" statues, with many other things to be announced soon.

Thanks for sharing! I've been following this one as well, and am glad they announced it's part of a Sega All-Stars collection. They are asking fans what other characters we'd love to see in the future. I hope they do a NiGHTS from nights into dreams figure, seems like most of the fans are asking for that so it sounds likely at this point :D.

I think you're looking at an announcement they posted last year in December. Pre-orders for this thing will be going up "VERY soon" according to F4F. Look for it in a few days to weeks, I would imagine :D.

Also a Jet Set Radio statue would be incredible as well!

Yeah, according to F4F they don't charge a penny until the item actually ships, which will be sometime in Q4 this year.

Q4 2013 is the release date, which means payment won't be taken till then. Although based on other statues I've got preordered/received, I'd expect this won't actually release till Q1 2014 xx

As a fan of Shenmue and always hoping for a sequel at every E3 and TGS that goes by, I don't think this is that great. I like the mirror stand a lot more. It is tempting in general given the number and it being Ryo etc etc, but eh. Something about it is just off. One of those hit or miss figures for me as far as F4F go, where this one misses. Would've given it to Kotobukiya to do.

Shipping does suck but for those having issues try multiple times, my shipping was 90 the first two times I tried to purchase. Then it was 55 the third time I tried. I tried a 4tg time and it was 35 dollars. I don't know what is going on but try again. I could handle 35 but 90 dollars was uncalled for.

agreed with the shenmue love, who would have thunk driving a fork lift (badly at first) would bring so much joy, get paid a few yen, straight round the arcade for a bit of super hang-on, bliss

I loved driving the forklift! so much so i became licensed operator as a adult. That game was the first of its kind, sad that it lost money, i loved it, it's sad Sega bowed out early and thought they would lose the console war due to no dvd player. It was far superior to the ps2. In it's short life look how many great and diverse game where on the dreamcast. The best fighting game selection. The best arcade selection. Great rpgs, it had all the resident evils up to code veronica. My console still works great compared to my 6 xbox 360s that broke with normal use. Anyway there may. There may be enough underground support to develop another shenmue, heck some developers silk make dc games, I just got a new game called gunlord, the appeal may not be large enough to risk AAA development of costs though.
Also what do you guys think about the Sega All stars line? I like this is also what's cool is you can get a reservation when you buy shenmue statue to buy the same number of the next in the series. That way is I wanted the set I could get all matching production numbers. Who do you think they will choose beside sonic for this collection?

Shenmue 3 seems more possible now than ever since Yu Suzuki has come out saying he would consider crowdfunding/kickstarting the development for the Shenmue finale. I hope that comes to fruition, but for now i'm refraining from getting my hopes too high, haha.

As for some of the other figures in the Sega All-Stars line, a lot of the fans have been requesting Nights from Nights Into Dreams so who knows, we may be seeing that one :D. If they make that one i'll be picking it up for sure, also while using that same number thing they have going on, which is a cool feature.

Personally, I'm not sure there will be a Sonic in this line. F4F has two Sonic lines already so not sure if they'd bother adding Sonic into this line.

But also, Sega All-Stars without the blue blur? It's a tough one. I suppose, this line is smaller in scale compared to the other Sonic lines I think, so a smaller, more affordable Sonic statue could be a good idea xx

Yeah I figured Sega All stars means a sonic although I would prefer they dig deeper. I love the fact they started with shenmue and I would LOVE if they went with Knights into Dreams! I actually bought a Sega Saturn just for that game, the first game I owned that came with its own controller. I could picture the statue now. Great choice! I figured shenmue would sell quick somewhat quick but not already. I'm glad to get one as well. Any other ideas?

It's now officially sold out! Well, at least the exclusive edition is. I kind of like the base for the normal edition too. The streets of Tokyo are a huge landmark for that game, and is what originally drew me to it! Buuut, I don't think i'll order a regular edition just for the base, haha.

Ungghh, payment for UK customers for this is due on Tuesday :( It was supposed to be for Allan's Christmas as he loves Shenmue, but I don't have ?150 to spare right now (I thought it would have been due towards the end of November), and it sold out, so I'm conflicted about cancelling it. Just gotta say, F4F does a great job of notifying their customers when credit card issues arise. Didn't realize I had an out of date card linked to the purchase and they quickly notified me to change it...instead of just out right cancelling it like I know certain other sites do...

Yeah, they're really good for that. I don't see why other retailers aren't the same, I mean if a simple problem like an out of date card is what is preventing a preorder from going through, surely they could just have an automated email to inform of payment issues and give you say five days to fix it before cancellation, but no... most places cancel straightaway.
