you would think but info 4 x 4 = 16 database editions x at least 5 - 10 mins for each although after first on is entered about 5 min for each further same edition addition

i see, well i dont think you will find a price like that anywhere that also have international shipping so you should ask for a forwarding from a uk member.
once you have it you will notice you didnt pay much as you usually do for an import.
or simply wait for a US release of a CE typically for 99$ or 150$ if they combined certain uk contents together.

well for watchdogs the pc is lead platform so getting the ps4 version for a little graphics upgrade and some social interaction features is pointless if you are a console gamer.
if there is a huge difference which i doubt it, i might just get the standard ps4 edition.
no matter what watchdogs has to offer it will never beat the father of all sandbox games aka GTA.
funny to see watchdogs releasing 2 months after GTAV and very close to their own AC4, you can feel the fear in ubisoft decision lol
am sure some of you know and aware that watchdogs is modified rip off and heavily influenced by the amazing jonathan nolan hit series Person of Interest that was debuted a year before watchdogs reveal and ubisoft saying that it has been worked on for years is just bull crap. thats one of the two reasons am not that crazy about watchdogs, 2nd for ubisoft saying they can take on GTA V lol
another game i really hate for again ripping a nolans brothers work is Remember Me heavily influenced by inception.
one game that really stands out these days by it self with awesome creativity is Beyond two souls, which is my personal highly anticipated title and not watchdogs, last of us or AC4.

Ubisoft has some great Collectors editions this year, they are all pretty similar too so it looks like they are following a certain format as they've worked out what people want in Collectors editions.

Will be getting Dedsec on PS3 and a Vigilante on PS4 when the release date of the console is announced, which will most likely be at E3 (hopefully).

It wasn't until I saw the CE notification on this page that this game was even on my radar - now I'm already getting worked up that (once again it seems) the US doesn't have a CE (yet) and I'll have to import from all you fine folks in the UK. (I'll never understand why Ubisoft doesn't want all my $$)

oh yeah ! kept an eye on Shinji Mikami Tango Gameworks project for a while now, i knew bethesda buying them was a great decision.
i dont typically like RE games and cant play horror games in general but the evil within is a must buy for me for 3 reasons, 1 being published by my favourite greatest company bethesda/zenimax, 2 the game using id tech 5 engine from one my favourite fps games Rage, 3 its a Shinji Mikami game which i admire his work on the survival horror genre where he defined it. capcom doesn't deserve to have someone like him.
GTAV will definitely have a CE but not sure about a european CE release for Beyond as sony done this before with resistance 2 US only and 3 UK only CEs, but if they became cash hungry like ubisoft so i guess thats possible :p

Glad I kept that sealed, seems to be fetching a nice price now! Was a huge fan of Farenheit/Indigo Prophicy and been a keen fan of Quantic Dream's projects since, despite David Cage's ummm... comments.

I just wish they'd bring him back on Resident Evil... and I think The Evil Within will hopefully get Capcom thinking.

i know but what i meant thats its in the publisher hands always, QD being a european studio it was fair to release a SE for their first major ps3 game in EU but look at insomniac being a US studio and released US only CE for R2 and then sony released an EU only CE for R3.

and I think The Evil Within will hopefully get Capcom thinking

lol it will make them cry, and then just listen to their lame void promises that RE7 will "return to its original roots of a true survival horror" just like they did with RE6 :p

if am not wrong,sadly that wont happen if it goes out of stock and no longer available on its product page before you get its pre order price guaranteed, i think i noticed that happening with ni no kuni wizard edition.
funny thing i actually pre ordered the 99 priced copy the minute it became available and after a couple of hours i saw the price decrease and noticed that it didn't change my total in the my order (maybe it needed time)
but feeling paranoid i canceled immediately stating the reason that price is too high and re ordered the 75 copy lol

Yeah it takes time usually, I usually preorder the cheaper copy, but keep my original until it decreases, then cancel the newer order (since if they end up with supply issues, they'll fulfill older orders first) xx

There doesn't look like too much difference between that one and the Dedsec edition one.
The mark on the ground is missing, the phone doesn't have a blue glow and overall the colouring seems darker but more saturated I'd say.

Not too sure whether or not to order it.
I have the Dedsec edition preordered but the figures from Ubi are always really nice quality.

hmmm steelbook is neither is a gain orr loss as it is a variant but so is dedseec and vigilante mask is nice would be nicer if they done it with the hat as well

For most people around here, buying a collector's edition is just an obsession thing. I would've bought the standard if I had to, but I support the game and its publishers enough that I want to pay as much as I can for a game that looks this good.

Also: I own the CE of Batman: Arkham Asylum & Mass Effect. They really paid off!

I am getting multiple editions of Watch_Dogs. I really like the look of the game, so it is highly unlikely I will not enjoy it. However, if you were to buy an edition and you REALLY hated the game, you could always sell it afterwards (this however isn't an option for me, even if I dislike something, as I have a weird aversion to selling my stuff :haha: Also it is rare for me to hate a game) xx

I'm willing to fork extra of my hard-earned cash to an original IP that interests me based on the history of the developer(s), genre, gameplay features and the contents of the CE.

With new IP, I question if it captures my interest. Watch_ Dogs's hacking mechanics is a fresh injection into the open world genre and something that would be fun to do, conscience free from reality. It is also developed by the same studio of great open world games like Assassin?s Creed 2 and Far Cry 3. What about the contents in the CE? The standards are in there; figurine, soundtrack, artbook, steelbook, DLC, plus unique bonuses like the 3 badges, map of Chicago and 4 "Augment Reality" cards.

For $138 AUS (PC version), it is affordable compared to other collectors editions with less stuff for over $150 RRP down under. Skyrim, Resident Evil 6 and Gran Turismo 5 come to mind.

Based on their track record, I predict the worst Watch_Dogs can be is it being an Assassin?s Creed clone with a modern skin to it. But based on gameplay videos: there are several unique gameplay features to the hacking mechanics to differentiate it as its own game.

Obviously the final quality of the game is yet to be revealed, but there is enough evidence to say it is more than blind faith as the reason to why I invest more money in one game. It is like how you would judge a favourite between two boxers based on their previous matches.

And what if I didn't enjoy the game? Pre-ordering games is a risky venture. It is satisfying when the $98 game you pre-ordered is good, but it feels even better when that good game came with extra goodies you are proud to have.

Hideki's track record gives me confidence that Bayonetta is a game to invest in items to show my fanboy side of videogames, and it turned out to be a great game.

Go 10 years from now CE will only be done by game makers who are making money why would I pay $88 AUS for a digital copy of Deadpool on PSN or $120 AUS for the digital copy of Watch Dogs on PSN me I want some thing that I can feel and may be pass on or sell (gaming history) gaming has changed (getting bigger in game play and quality) and watch dogs is a bench mark to the future of gaming go back 10 years ago what was gaming like...

I wouldn't worry about it. I'm sure that AC IV will do well, I 'think' that Blacklist did well, and I'm sure that Watchdogs will do quite well, too. This happens to most companies' stocks when they delay a game. They have to change their projected earnings--always lower them for the current period--and the stock dips. It will come back up once Watchdogs is released and they're back on track with their earning projections.

I wouldn't worry about it. I'm sure that AC IV will do well, I 'think' that Blacklist did well, and I'm sure that Watchdogs will do quite well, too. This happens to most companies' stocks when they delay a game. They have to change their projected earnings--always lower them for the current period--and the stock dips. It will come back up once Watchdogs is released and they're back on track with their earning projections.

Even if that was the case, if there was no AC next year it would be a little nice. Give it some time so we could miss the game.

The same can be said with COD and many many others that do yearly releases.

I even e-mail'ed Book depository for the artbook and they replied the launch is still this month, independent to the game release. This is pretty confusing and prima didn't reply my e-mail.

The art book and game guide must be printed and bound by now as print runs go this is a big job then there is distribution to add so I would think they are some somewhere. As they pulled this at the last minute a few things can happen hold the art bookstall new date (me thinks the should let it go ahead the least the could do as it is a big disappoint to many the delay) but the game guide they will have to right off too many spoilers may be.

looks like the game has had a big rethink (like putting the option to set game at 1080p like you can do on pc games set the resolution in game there should be no reason why this should not be standard for "next-Gen" games) it's more likely to do with multiplayer me thinks as online gaming is we're the developers are pushing us. The division will be huge (key being character creation from the off) just because it is not set in a kind of Mass Effect universe that said still all down to taste.

I may be wrong but what we want from are next-gen ornaments is quality gaming, when games look and play like there trailers only then I would say "next-gen" is here. To me this next-gen sounds too trekkie like the next generation tv series a lot of build up for years then boldly went nowhere.

B plays when the have the time, C on it just to kill everything for the hours they have put in on a game numbers is everything( I'm doing it for the numbers man!!!) there will never be an ending for some to get that high score.

Gaming has become an addition in many forms be it cosplay to web sites talking about gaming that's why too me it is about the game at the end of the day like Darksiders II loved the game till they fucked up with the DLC playing AC3 at the moment along with BAC along with GTAV the list goes on but that's how I like to play. As some games have GOTY versions after a while will pick one up if the price is right.
So you is a SPG (single player gamer) who buys a game for quality and playability, the trade-up thing is what?
If get the XB1 version for $10 I think that won't apply as there is a kill date for the promotion next year March me thinks.

It's up to the developer still but I know that the AC IV Season Pass was region locked for the PS4 and region free for the X1

So you might need a UK account to use the DLC codes but I could be wrong though.

Like the PS3 before it, the PS4 has hard and fast region rules--meaning they apply to everything.

Games are region free: You can plop a disc in to any system and use any account, and they will work.

Gamesaves are region locked: If you've been playing a game from your own region (NTSC because you're in Mexico) and you finally get that awesome import version of it you've been waiting for, save that old disc! Saves only work with the same region version of the game.

DLC works the same as game saves: If you get an import version of something that has some DLC, you are free to use it on an account of the matching region. They will not work in accounts from other regions. You can then set your PS4 as the main one for that extra account, and use that content on any account. The hitch, though, is that you will obviously only be able to use the DLC if you are using a version if the game that matches.

Example: I have Ass Creed IV both UK and USA versions. I used my UK DLC on my UK account, so any account on my PS4 can use it, but the version of the game I played is the US one, so I was unable to use it anyway.


To directly answer your question: You will need to make a UK account and use the DLC on that. It will work for all accounts on the system. You will also need to make sure that you play the game using that UK disc. On top of that, any future DLC will have to be purchased through that UK account, meaning you'll likely be importing PSN cards to get some money on there because your billing details won't work for it.

Yeah, mine came on Friday. Exactly the same issue. Oversized jiffybag and incorrect steelbook. Luckily the steelbooks arrived in an acceptable condition, with only some slight scratches on the G2 steelie. Anyway, I've already had a bad run in with ubishop regarding Assassin's Creed 3 Artbooks and false advertising.

It seems that this is another case of false advertising on Ubishops part. Need to see what they say to other members before I go guns blazing with them. It's utter Bullshit that they advertise this as an exclusive edition when it is really only a standard copy of the game with a steelbook pre-order bonus. Not to mention it has cost a massive premium for this "edition" compared to the standard Ed game. >.< Not a happy bunny.
