Been around for a little while now and anyone that's seen me would have seen me commenting on something Bioshock related. I recently had a friend urge me to take some photos of my collection so I figured I should post some here as well. This is not the whole collection for two reasons.
1. I couldn't be bothered uploading all the photos. (Lots of posters/tees not shown)
2. I literally couldn't get to some items (most of this stuff is boxed up in a spare room, ready for a move to a new house).

I think 'obsession' is a bit of an understatement.

You know what though...I post all that stuff and it doesn't seem like much to me at all. I might have a problem. Of course I am still waiting on a few other things to arrive via mail - not to mention the Cook and Becker prints I scored.

But thanks Harlequin - I'll take it as a compliment ;)

Edit: Though I love the MoC vigor the most, I think I'm most proud of the SITS masks. Took me a long time to actually get them all considering they were sent out randomly.

Incredible collection mate... Bioshock is a fantastic franchise to have an addiction, it's worth it. :)

This is awesome collection! You've got some really nice pieces there. It must've cost a fortune.

Thanks guys. I was a bit hesitant to post the stuff on here since I've seen some amazing collections!

Not really sure on the cost to be honest. I have been collecting Bioshock stuff for a good 6 or 7 years though so it hasn't felt like a high cost if that makes sense.

Wow, that is such an awesome Collection! You've got some pieces, I'd steal for, lol.

Love the Murder of Crow Bottle and the Rosie Helmet!

Thanks guys. So nice to get some positive feedback on the collection as most people don't seem to 'get it' if you know what I mean :P

Very nice!
You know me, I always ask...
What would be a magic price you'd sell everything for (If possible)...?

Amazing collection - Bioshock is one of my most favourite universes ever. Murder of Crows, Andrew Ryan figurine, Rosie helmet, framed artworks etc. So jealous! I really want to get my hands on that lovely Big Daddy plushie-doll someday.

Ok, to try and answer a few questions :)
@Texas - Never really thought about selling the collection. In fact, I have not idea how much it's worth. What do you guys think this is worth?
@Nipper - Whoa - thanks mate. Not bad for a guy from Australia considering everything costs $$ to get shipped here I guess :P I'm sure there are more complete collections out there. I'm always looking for more ;)
@Bazz - The poster is one of the original Wanted posters from the SITS campaign for Bio 2 showing Lutwedge. Here is an image I found online (http://healium.files.wordpress.com/2010/01/wanted1.jpg), though this one has letters cut out. Oh and I got a Falling (#23) and Elizabeth (#2) - smaller as no big ones were left unfortunately.
@Andy - Yeah I was addicted once I saw some of the early info on the first. There are some nice pieces, but also some big ticket items I can't seem to find just yet.

Cheers all. :)

Hey! Welcome, Knight! Excellent collection. :thumb:

This is the first time that I get to see the Rosie helmet! Isn't that super rare? Like only 5 or 10 exist... or maybe even 1? Can't remember! Can you give more details (weight, dimensions, material, etc)? :swoon:

Also the Big Daddy silhouette shirt. Pretty sure I've never seen that either. Where's it from? :)

Thanks for sharing your collection with us.

@ Spurs - Seen it many times. Have been tempted many times ;) I actually did look into it quite seriously but the cost of getting it to Australia was too high.

Hi V1,

Will do my best to answer, though I've since boxed it back up lol
In terms of amounts, that seems to vary, though who knows how many are still 'alive' so to speak. I've got a scan of the original document and that said 25 existed, though I've also read that the number was 24 and 26, so I'm not sure. It's probably about 10 inches in height. It's mostly plastic, though it has a switch so that you can turn the globe inside on. This allows it to light up with a blue effect.
Apparently mine is #3 and came from a developer.

That shirt you mean is in the picture under the Rosie right? I got that one about 4 or 5 years ago. I was told it was a rare exclusive tshirt that was given to some members of the press though I honestly dont know for sure. I haven't ever seen another one of them.

I second this motion!

You would be like a Bioshock Jesus if you had this.

Oh yes that's great I just started getting into Bioshock around the time SITS was ending was gutted I missed out on that they had some cool stuff.

Did you get your two prints unframed, still deciding what to do with mine!

Yeah - there was some pretty cool stuff in SITS. Made it difficult though as everything was happening in the US!

As for the prints - def unframed for me. I wanted the additional sig, plus I like to display with the additional white border where possible. I also like to pick the frame I want to match everything else - I've never really liked things unframed so to speak - it just doesn't have the look i like. (Oh and my sis in law does framing so I can get it done at cost mwahahaha) :)

Yer does seem that the US get most of the good like all the handouts at things like PAX and all the bits that game sores seem to get, we do get some bits in the Uk but nowhere near as much!

Yes I went unframed as well I defiantly like the fact that you get the signature on the front think it adds to the print when it's framed. Just got to decide how I want it to look, would be good to see yours framed when you get them done!

I like your Bioshock collection a lot. This is another franchise that I was trying to collect, but it's hard to collect many franchises.

The giant Oxmox statue would be a lovely addition to your collection. I, too, have been seriously looking at that statue.
