Since people check both threads, I figured I'd do a copy and paste from the other thread for info.

Actually given the huge response to this CE I'm going to take the bull by the horns and tweet Deep Silver asking them if they can think about having more EZGotG editions made, if it's not too late. Another 5,000 should keep all the addicted collectors like us sated, well, those of us whom are happy with one copy each anyways, lol.
If you agree with me and think lending your voice can help, I encourage you to tweet DS as well. One demanding voice speaks with power: five thousand demanding voices speaks with the Bohemian Rhapsody... lolMore than 5K would be horrible. I feel for people not getting one, but I would hate this becoming over saturated in the market. It would kill the rarity...(IMO)
On that note though, just sent a message to EB Games CA and they still have some for preorder...Maybe a Canadian counterpart can help someone here in getting one...

They stopped taking orders when the game was refused the first time, and advised customers to cancel their orders as they couldn't be certain when the game would launch (at least that was my experience at 2 different stores) They were still taking them online this morning, I can check in store in an hour.

They've removed a 20min side mission and that was enough for it to pass for a MA 15+ rating. It was a good 20k investment they made for publicity applying for an uncut version.

I got 2 texts because I've got a presidential edition at a different store to Dubstep edition and both are Xbox. The presidential edition is not branded though, just a flat square box with the eagle logo on both sides.

Man I like the style of this particular one.

SR2 I played when ti came to PS+ and could not get into it not to mention how dated it felt. Then SR3 became free not too long ago and I liked it much more and got into it some but I had other game is considered better to finish and it got back burnered. But SR4 it just cool, a completely different game IMO... the additions are just what it need for me. But I am not too far into it yet so who knows I could change my tune.

how many preorders could have cancelled?..you can buy upto 11 of these at a time, why "hold back" stock?...only to discount it about 25% off?...why not keep all that profit and sell it during the new release period when it's all hyped?...why "hold back" stock on there oversized boxes needlessly clogging up amazon warehouse space?...there's just no way, they had that many cancellations, when people were paying double on ebay and gamestop was sold out quickly..i say these are reprints, and they thought' they'd keep a low profile and slip them in when no one was looking and everybody was focused on next gen.

I have not seen it sold out since it was released and it's even been cheaper than $99.99. They made more than 5000 and they lied about how limited it would be.

I also know a fairly decent number had damaged corners (much like gamestop) and got return/exchanged because of that.

I'm sure not all the ones they are selling are "mint" condition.

in "good faith" and with amazon's solid reputation, they would not sell damaged ones, they would just return them to the original vendor or write it off with their policies and destroy them or donate them once a claim is made..there can't be such a huge allotment of returns that I can put 11 in my cart for each order for each system...and all of them being damaged etc...we already know some members posted pics with numbers above 5000..the excuse was then oh those are in case some didn't meet there high quality standards...and it was a small insiginificant number..and know we have this..i bet if someone bought these, there either NO numbered but the same exact product..or numbered like 28,634 LOL

Yeah, this is what somewhat makes me feel better.

I know two people who bought them when they went down in price.
Both boxes were in pretty bad & horrible shape. Now I'm sure there are some out there mint and pristine, but for the majority I'm pretty sure won't be collector quality.

I do blame the boxes, as they are so flimsy.
