avoiding any spoilers of any kind, this is a thing, that edward has in a trailer, and it signifies something that either is important, does happen in Black Flag or will happen in the next 2014 release of assassins creed

i hope that is spoiler free,
but here is another way of saying it this is what ubiworkshop are making, if you play Black Flag then there is a possibility of one of these things turning up, but there is just as much chance of you seeing moby dick, or the mary celeste, so take my words as ramblings and not based on what happens in the game at all

and kraken? i must be missing something i see no kraken, but i have only played for 18 hours so far

saying how long a speed run of main story and no side objectives will take

oh and speed run will take roughly 15 hours and longer if you die or fall victim to the distraction engine

The exclusive does not really has something to do with AC 4, as you say the main game is set from 1715 to 1730, but Aveline is first born 1747..

The source is a story about UBisoft saying that the content will never be coming to other platforms, but there is also "news" or a report in there that the content is only "licensed" as "exclusive" for 6 months, so there is a "possibility" that it "could" be released at a later date, but in my mind it does not "make sense" from a "sales" or "marketing" stand point on Sony or UBisoft or the "sony-ubi" relationship to admit or give details about such future release plans, and we must also try to understand who the UBisoft officials that are reference in the article, actually are, and whether they are the people who make the decisions about what will get released as DLC,


But to answer the question about whether to play the 60 minute content before or after AC3L
The hour-long "short story" is divided into three bonus missions for PlayStation 3 and 4 owners, and will pick up a while after Liberation's conclusion

Well there is currently no way of replaying the modern day section of the games, so I blast through as fast as possible to make the modern day sections happen as close to each other as possible and this gives me a better understanding of what is going on in the global modern day arc, as I can always replay the game for the historical part, and I intend to take my time on a next gen platform latter this year,

When you kill him you throw away the hidden blade because you don't know what it is, but if you go hunt an animal immediately you use the hidden blade. In chapter 2 you are then given hidden blades to prove your skills and magically you know how to be an assassin. TADA!

As a mega fan of the story and lore, so far I am disappoint.

I completely agree. It is one thing for people to say it does not take itself seriously but really the begging of the game is just poorly written. I think they could just not get a really good idea for how to get pirates involved somehow with Assassins.

If I were you I would try and pay with paypal (press check out with paypal button which is just beneath the button for checkout)...in that way they use the address you provide with paypal.

Well it is made by the first civ but the item itself does not told any magical piece of Eden powers like the apple or staff and that is why I did not call it a piece of Eden and without spoiling anything it is not possible to go into more detail

Adds physx to smoke, smoke particles now have physx (physics) implemented, they linker for longer, cast shadows, are effected by weather, wind and turbulence along with being effected by NPCs characters and obstacles passing through them,

The particles now stack which means the more canons you fire on a ship the thicker the smoke, and the same for pistols, this makes naval combats feel so much more information intence because after a single broadside you can no longer see your enemies

Also turbulence has been added, its not as good as what we have seen in watchdogs but it is very similar to the turbulence we have seen in batman arkham origins,

This update may majena tiny difference to most casual gamers but even on low quality settings it makes a very big difference to the overall atmosphere

Strangely enough ubisoft have not announced (via ubibkog) any details obout this update
