The steelbook was produced in 8000 copies. I think it will be easy to get one on ebay for cheap in few days/weeks.

I'm not sure I got the best deal, but I got this steel, the one piece steel, and Rayman Legends from the same seller for $105 shipped. She also threw in SC V, which I can sell as I already have it. Overall fairly happy with it. The Realm Reborn steel looks absolutely gorgeous!

Don't think so...I get 2 FF realms steel and 1 One Piece steel for 45 Euros....hehehe

Didn't get a Rayman one couse I already had it from Platfus group...but 15 euros per steel is superb!!! :D

8000 copies??? Don't think they produced too much just for France. Somebody should ask Scanavo...but very high number just for France IMO.

That is a great price. Shipping was a large portion of mine. So many sellers insist on tracked and insured shipping methods that us USA folk are stuck eating that extra cost.

Seems to be. DVDs rarely get steels any more, so it's all Blu-ray for that. The new consoles are also both G2. I guess we'll only be seeing G1 steels for Wii U and PC specific steels.

Honestly DVD as a format doesn't make sense if costs of blu-ray manufacturing go down enough

They won't disappear but they'll become less relevant

Adoption of blu-ray drives is the only thing tempering the changeover

Wii U games use a proprietary disc medium that's basically blu-ray disc but they have yet to switch cases for whatever reason

G2 is the future until G3.......
