BTW, I'm really amazed with your steel books and inspired.
it really interest me to collect Steel Book just seeing most of the collectors steel book, I find it beautiful to treasure.
so I keep mine in mind condition/sealed or sealed it myself to keep it mint.

I miss the AC2 spanish steel book or whatever it is called. way too expensive, maybe if I have a chance, hopefully.
I want to collect G1 if possible, but since I want to collect every single Steel for AC, I also possess that Steel of AC3 Liberation. what size is that? is that the G2?

The ACII stickerbook is very expensive. I was lucky enough to make a good trade with someone on here. Got a great friend out of it as well :D

There are a lot of cheaper beautiful G1 steels that you can collect

I suggest searching ebay.fr, ebay.es, and ebay.de for steels that you may want and then ask sellers if they will ship to you as that is usually the cheapest way to get steelbooks

Yes, I'm thinking of buying that as well, But I don't know, I prefer PVC type like this. I think I missed another one, not sure about the spec, you know that Connor bust or what does it called? do you recommend that? I noticed the details but it doesn't appeal me much

You have lots of different steel books, If only I can still play lots of games, then maybe I would collect different games even only steel books. busy now on my work, but AC is really my favorite game all time so couldn't resist collecting them.

Oh that AC2 stickerbook is rare, I saw the price here and it cost a fortune already, some of them are not on it's top condition. well, I will try to be patient and soon I can buy them.

As a collector, I would get the bust if you get the bobbleheads aswell. The bobbleheads are made out of a stone material.

I actually just had to sell my only AC collectors item due to needing money :( It was the statue from what i consider the BEST AC so far (AC2).

Agreed, Those AC4 Figures really impressed me. but they are quite too tall, compare to others. but still can't wait to own them.

Not sure about the price because some of them are incomplete (Figure/Litho/steel) otherwise, these are in mint condition.
and still need to organize first about the exporting.

They killed it when they told us they where closing it down and moving to ac initiates
I stuck around (wty4ka) but noticed it got really dead really quickly so over time I have visited less
And I don't like there customer service still (makes me biased)

Fine frames, they're nothing less than what those great masterpieces deserve. I loooove the frame for Ezio... Simply regal. :notworthy: Where will you hang them? I put Ezio next to my bed and people started getting the wrong idea about us. :P :rofl:

I found a pic of the bust on a Singaporian sculptors page and asked them if they still have it; it's not the same one that first appeared on ebay and sold for $700+. Someone is selling another on ebay for $900 this time. I bet more devs will start selling theirs when they find out how much money they can make. :P

I actually choose a fine simply frame for my lithographs but for the big size print, it turns out to be "regal" now that you mentioned.

as of now I'm designing a gaming room, with a theme of assassins creed :D and all my collections, (Figures, Lithographs) will be in there.

That's the problem with the rare item like that, owner/seller will try to make money out of it. so V1sav, I'm really jealous when I saw your collection thread and noticed that Ezio bust. what a treasure.

That being said, Final Fantasy is my Favorite game when I was a little boy, namely Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VIII and Final Fantasy IX.

Actually, it is not the Replica of Declaration of Independence letter. :(
I thought at first it was. but it is just a piece of card (Like the red feather from ACR) with a background or design like the DoI.

I recommend Desmond Bag.
aside from the perfect collection for Desmond costume, together with his Hoodie and T shirt.
this bag is made in a very high quality material and I like it. well, I don't want to use it outdoor,
but like the other review, it is quite small to hold laptop or some table, but still.

and about the necklace, it's the first release of necklace.
What is putting me off the Desmond bag is that it says suitable for mobile phone snas some tablets but not iPad mini yet my nexus7 is the same size as an iPad mini and it wouldn't go to well with my despond costume my long hair and femininity kind of get in the way

Also I am impressed how you got a necklace1 when they sold out

Ubiworkshop products are really nice, good quality, impressive and unique (opinion from me)
but what really holding me off to buy them are the price, way too expensive. (like for the belt, hoodie, or even that calendar)

And then customs are expensive as well
I will contact UbiWorkshop and ask if they can change to a customs upfront method to save on our costs as most of the time UPS charges are higher then the amount of customs I have to pay, like I have had 3 UbiWorkshop orders where UPS admin and handling charges where double the actual Customs charge

Hope this is the first of many more Press Kits I will own.
yeah, apparently, I convinced the seller to sent me a mint bust without any expenses. it was his fault at the first place.

and lastly, watch out for my Lithos update soon. (Hope really soon) I also can't wait for them.
and now I decided to change my frames as I found out that this frame are not good for my lithos, I'm sure some of you noticed my mistake now the way I frame them.

need to change it soon as I don't want to risk damaging them, especially the Revelations.

This is the disadvantage of a newbie collector especially for Lithos, lack of knowledge preserving them, at the same time this is the advantage of being in this community.

about my lithos, there's no problem with it physically, they are in mint. but the way I framed them.
I was not aware of the mat, I asked the framer to disregard to use the mat as I thought its not a big deal, and now I just found out that matted them are very important for art works, to avoid the lithographs making contact on the glass. because the glass makes moist and it is bad for the prints to make contacts. that's as far as I know, maybe professional can help us, and it is a big help for me as I love and I want to preserve my lithographs.

And for the Art (R)evolution, yes, lots of article but in Italian version. That being said, hope they release English version soon. but I like the art works as well.

Think geek stars and ac logo are embroidered and the stripes are made of different coloured fabric and down together (like a real flag)
UbiWorkshop is one piece of cloth that is printed and it comes in a box
So obviously the UbiWorkshop one
Is not the one I would choose

I totally agree with lily.
I like the yellowish style of thinkgeek. and it's kinda bigger..
Ubiworkshop flag is also a quality one, with nice touch like the stain/dirty effect.
but obviously, inferior than the thinkGeek Flag, but superior than the AC3LE. :taunt:

and can you guys compair these to the Launch Flag???the quality of the launch flag is better then the think geek one but the standard collector would not notice
As some of you may know, I am familiar with textiles,cloth and fabric
The embroidery is really well perfect on the press flag

Lol, you noticed. I just moved it in my glass cabinet.
it doesn't fit there because of its base, I cannot close the door.
I'm planning to buy a customize Glass cabinet which has a tall size (for the tall statue like the Edward on the Jack 55cm)

I'd have to say that I'm not a big fan of the AC series, but I really like how well you tied it all together. It's very visually appealing for me. Your thread is very organized and neat. It's the complete opposite of my last update which is just boxes and boxes of stuff in one room. I knew a bunch of figure collectors from the Philippines and can't imagine what hoops you guys go through to get a hold of your goodies. Good job and keep at it.

Thanks for the recognition, I enjoy collecting as well as presenting them in a good manners, but I still need to improve and make a better presentation for my collection.
And yes, getting these stuff is really hard for me as shipping fee is quite high, I need to find cheaper fee. and the waiting is long, sometimes custom holds our parcel for a long time. again thanks for stopping by on my thread, Cheers :hug:

I love the series so I have to enjoy it even I find some glitches or boring part or repetitive like the gameplay, yes they added new features but it is still like the previous AC.
I like the combat but I find it quite brutal and always mass murder. I can literally kill hundreds soldier without getting any scratches :D

But I really like the story of AC, especially when they release new characters, on game or even in the comics. I like finding out their history, background, who's their father, offspring, ancestors, etc. I want to find out what happens to Desmond after the AC3. and stuff like that... all in all I like the timeline of AC series.

One thing I'm curious and waiting now is the AC movie.

Oh, thanks for reminding about the initiates, I never visit that again. will check it shortly.

I read some article that modern settings in AC4 will be a complete optional. you can finish the game without playing the modern or you can still play it if you prefer. And you will find out what happen to desmond if you play all the modern part.

It will be like any of the previous AC games. Some of the present day stuff are mandatory (ex: main plot stuff where they force you out of the animus) but most of it will be optional (other ex: laptop/emails in AC1, talking with Becca/Shaun AC2, exploring Monteriggioni + dialogue ACB, etc).

Thanks for the link Lil, funny thing is, I don't know mine if this is the one with the cards (on your link) or the tin with the certificates inside (I believe this one doesn't have a game included inside)

Details about those editions are hard to find and I don't know which came.with which consoles
But I would say that both Xbox and ps3 versions where available for the art cards version and the bonus DVD/ cert if authority version

Are you sure that's the IS pre order ac1 mini a5 art book?
I have seen more of those over in the UK and France and Poland then I have seen in the US (maybe only 1 or 2in US)
I've seen way way more of the a5 book with the whole body shot of Altair crouching/jumping on it
And the last the one that usually cones with a US /NA/CA limited or collectors edition

Thanks mags, I just find it a beautiful combination and thanks for appreciating it. I'm going to start to change my first batch of Lithos to this frame style.
and yes, the porte de la cite survive. that what matters to me as I'm going to change the frame after all, I'm just a bit pissed because I paid for the frame shipping fee as well. :(

Since the litho's have a white border around them, i guess its not to advise to use a white mat, but a more contrasting one?

I was thinking about this color (wheat) http://www.1001fotolijsten.nl/1001fotolijsten/images/stories/virtuemart/product/8462_Wheat_4dbae39c3522b.jpg with a black frame.

Or should i go for a more contrasting one? Its so hard to choose.

I prefer to have the same color mats for all my artwork so have a more rustic view.

I dont like those antique painting like frames. It will be a modern frame.

I'm not really a pro when it comes to framing, so I cannot give any professional advice.
I just ask and rely on our local framer and they do the thing for me. I just make sure they use a mat as I believe it is important. and I like the color of the mat they used :)

My top favorite is this Hors Comerce giclee released by Ubiworkshop. Originally sold worldwide for 60 copies back in 2011. I never thought I will own a copy of this as it was sold out quickly and when I decided to collect giclee, the value of this became too damn high. Managed to get a copy of a hors commerce directly from Ubiworkshop and was signed by the team.
This giclee represents Ezio Auditore di Firenze standing in the street of Constantinople, Ezio saga was one of the epic events that happened in Assassin's Creed series and I'm very proud to treasure this piece of art.

they are the employee/team, as you will notice they are a small team (as they always said) but they are starting to get big because of the number of signatures.

for the arts. I somehow agree with you, actually true. If you are a professional art collector, artist signature are more important not the "employee" but for me this is a great opportunity to own the great piece.
As you can see this is not actually the edition released to the public. if I will have chance to buy those edition I will still buy it.

these signed HC was offered to me by the team and it is hard to say no (that's all I can say of how I got it, I want to be discreet a bit). for me getting their signatures makes my items a bit special. ubiworkshop is also a official branch of ubisoft, so quite cool in my opinion :poll:

for us, it is hard to get a very nice deal because of the shipping fee.
sometimes there are awesome stuff I need to pass because shipping fee is too much.

If only extra fee is free, then I bought lots of stuffs now, even rare ones I find.

i think i know what you mean.
but for me i limit myself to assassins creed so i am enjoying everytime i get a new steel books especially when it is rare..
