Hi All,

I'm from Holland an want to say it's is absolutely great to check out all of the collections here! :)
I collected some stuff a couple of years ago but not as seriously as some of you over here.

I see a lot of people here have very good knowledge about everything that can be collected concerning Assassins Creed. I wondered if you guys could tell me what an Official Hidden Blade Replica would be worth?

Thanks in advance for helping me out.

subscribed to your tread as I'm interested with that hidden blade, I only saw that once on the internet before. I also want to know more about item and I'm sure someone can shed some light here.

Interesting, very interesting, hopefully I can own it soon :D

Its was part of Launch kit as special gift for developers/distributors. The special gift contained this replica, venetian mask, ring and belt. Replica and mask are ultra rare, although I know guys who has ring and belt. From what I know, this items were listed on ebay just once, but I'm not sure about that. Price for this itself is about 200-300 euro depending on buyers knowledge. Complete set could go up to at least 1000 eur I guess imho. But you can still sell this to me for 5 eur and shipping is on you :D :p

That's not true.

This Hidden Blade replica was intended to be a prize for the winners of an Ubisoft contest in France, on 2009.
(It was open to everyone in France having an Uplay account, the competition consisted to kill as many Borgia's courier in a limited time, in Assassin's Creed 2. http://www.ps3gen.fr/assassin-creed-2-ubisoft-defi-joueurs-lame-secrete-actualite-8191.html)

This contest got cancelled because most of the Hidden blades came at the Ubisoft offices damaged or broken. After recovering few pieces that were in good conditions, they thrown the rest in the trash.

Thanx for all the information guys.

I won it during a twitter contest when AC 2 was being released.
I know for sure it wasn't really part of a package because they gave away quite some rings (I have that one as well only the wax is broken) and belts.

The main price was this replica and the second price was a PS3 system with a Black Edition of AC2. So they valued it quite highthemselves.

It was send to me in this box, and I'm glad I received it al in piece! :notworthy:

Not an AC fan, but this is so beautiful! I imagine this being a grail for hardcore fans!

That's weird - I just saw one of these on Ebay the other day. And my local Gamestop had 2 of them available for purchase on release day of AC3. I'm not sure if they were the exact same ones, but they looked pretty similar. I was going to pick one up, but after spending the $100+ on the limited edition, I figured another $40 or so was just too much. I haven't seen any for sale anywhere else since then though, so can't vouch for the rarity.

Edit: Oh, just saw the "limited edition" numbers, I don't know if the ones they were selling at Gamestop had those or not... I'm thinking probably not... carry on and nice find! :)

Sorry guys I was on holiday when this thread was started

The whole piece was a developer gift
A way of saying thank you to key members of the devteam and VIPs
Although it was licwnsed and made for UBisoft France so it is more likely it was intended to go to every UBisoft France employee that was involved in the AC2 game

There was believed to be only 200 but seeing as yours is numbered 245, the total number is uncertain (250 /300/500/1000)
It is clear that these things are rare possibly for the reason that is mentioned in this thread

I believe one listed at the right time in the right place to sell for around 5-700 euros

Def. more than 350. Tiao has 366 so I would say its limited to 400.

400 is an unlikely production number
So more like 500/750/1000
Are more typical production values

Thank you guys for all your answers.

I've been working at a warehouse and I know that most the times Chinese manufacturers mark their cartons saying 1/50, 2/50, etc.

In my previous posted picture you can see someone scrathes 32/47 which is obvious because I own number 245 so it wouldn't make sense.
Is there anybody here who can read Chinese and perhaps tell us what is written by hand?
It could certainly provide us more information!

I believe there is no better place then right here and I'm not looking for top dollar (or in my case top euro) :D

What I do find strange is that across this forum and the information I gathered you will ocassionally see a "crouching Altair" which is limited to 100 pieces if I'm right.
What I don't undertand is why there isn't more information about my replica.
It clearly has a higher limited number yet it seems more rare then the crouching altair?

Could it really be that it was only intended for Ubi empleyees and VIP? Or is it true that al lot were broken and thrown away?

Is anybody here in direct contact from Ubisoft who could perhaps ask them?

There where roughly 1000 crouching altairs made
And we got that information from the company that made it

Unless we can find out the actual name, date of release, UBisoft country that had it commissioned and the company that made it
Oh and someone that speaks the language where they where commissioned
Then what we have is the best we can get

I'd ask jak and tail and swift and see.what Jake and swift can find and what taio knows, if you wanted to know more about its story

This picture doesn't show any of this information?
It's tells us the manufacturers name and the company that ordered it.
Or isn't that what you meant saying?

Anybody feel like calling the ubisoft office it was intended for?

https://www.ubisoftgroup.com/en-us/about_ubisoft/world_presence/studio_montreal.aspx

I'm fairly certain the number on that site is a business number as I've already found different numbers for support and media contacts

Aero I ternational trading corp is the name of a customs import and export company
So we cannot co tact them and ask them how many they made as they are the delivery people
