I think it will consist of exact the same content as the other PAL Editions. (See content picture above)
The word exclusive doesn't stand for super special exclusive content it's just an indicator that tells people from Germany that they can get the Edition only from Amazon.de

It's very common that specific stores receive exclusive rights for distribution within a specific area. Like with Game in the UK. They get game exclusive rights but that exact game can still be bought in other countries through different retailers. Even though there are still exceptions with items from small batch production. Like that Dead Island wooden treasure box which was limited to 200 and worldwide only available through one store.

So you see, that whole store exclusive thing is just a marketing "trick" to increase sales ;) At least most of the time.

I've pre-ordered the US of this. Goes without saying doesn't it. Though it would be great to get a G2 steelbook of this to sit next to the Joker steel. Metalpak is a big no no. Being a Canadian developer guess they're saving a steelbook for a Futureshop exclusive.

The figure is much better in this than the European version. Having said this I'm sure it'll be a cancellation due to ACIV, Watchdogs and goodness what ever other orders I have lined up for the same period.

Just had a phone call from EBGames the delay was or is due to the fires in NSW there are some orders that are being filed by when you ordered the DE version. Extremely happy that I managed to get one and that it arrived on time, now I just have to figure out where to put it....

Reviews are coming in... on average it seems to be an 8/10. About what i expected and still decent score for sure. The biggest grip seems to be they did not do enough new with it... not sure how that is a big issue as if they did people would have torn their heads off.

I say it lost half a point from the get go from not being by Rocksteady.

Don't collect PS3 CE's (which my wallet and wife are both thankful for), so can't really compare it. ;)

Does anybody know if the Xbox and PS3 will have G1 and G1 steelbooks? or will they both carry a G1? i would hate for them to start having G2 when ALL their prior steels have been G1

There are already a pile of G2 steels for Batman Arkham City... (4 variants)

And at the moment it looks like NO steelbooks for Origins just metalpaks all round (2 variants).... :this:

This story is awesome so far. I am enjoying this one almost as much as Arkham Asylum (but I am only have way through.

But personally I still think the first game was the best one, I just think the open world made AC feel unfocused.

Still yet to pick it up but completed loved the second game, actually never got round to playing the first.

I played a bit of Origins at Eurogamer and it felt very familiar which can only be a good thing!

Really need to go pick it up, have you got the collectors edition?

Yes I got the CE. It is really good.

You should play the first game if you ever can set aside some time for it. Best one I think.

Did like the look of the first but a friend kind of put me off then when the second come out I thought let's go for it and completely loved it. Probably one of the most enjoyable games I have played so guess I should give the first a go!

Have anyone played the Portable version of this game? Batman Arkham Origins Blackgate...
Is is only me that thought that Blackgate actually is better than the console game? The game is very well structured... the world and exploration are really well done and combat felt totally like the arkham games, though still a bit easy to win fights against multiple enemies (and the stealth elements are still present).... I was really impressed with this game, so I don't really understand the mixed criticism

I just found out that some of the key people behind the metroid prime games made Batman Blackgate! No wonder the maps are so well designed! It's definitely way better metroidvania game than that Castlevania 3ds...

Did not play it... put off by the fact it was held back by being one the 3DS.

Could have been a small open world or even an Arkham Asylum style if they did it for Vita only or made a separate Vita one. Too bad really.

I'm telling you.. The metroidvania style of this game totally fits the arkham games motif... I didn't think it lost much by not being an open-world game... It's just more focused and streamlined... I didn't think it's better than the first two arkham city games, but definitely better than Batman Arkham Origins on console. Or maybe it's just me cause I really enjoy metroid games lol

I am just saying I think it lost potential from being made on 3DS and ported. Any game that is multi-plat is held back by the limitations of the lesser console.

I do see your point, but it will be tough to see any third party portable game being made solely for Vita... The hardware is amazing, but to tell you the truth I think even sony productions for Vita kinda suck, because the irony is that most of those games are basically lesser games of the ps3 and soon ps4.

True, Sony will keep finding it and PS4 might help.

But as far as lesser then PS3... you need to understand the only game that went through a proper dev cycle was Mercenary and it is easily better then gen 1 games on PS3. I think some people expect Vita to match 7th gen PS3 games out the gate.

But if it gets no love then the dev tools will never really improve except for first party and if that happens only it will be slow.

The funny thing is that Nintendo is going though the opposite thing... 3DS is getting better titles produced than the WiiU... I don't really get why it takes them so long to make quality games for the console... I'm still waiting for my zelda and metroid wiiu, so i can finally buy the console...

got the Arkham origin special edition with joker at his desk, was disappointed with paint detail on the joker and having blurred screens for the televisions just make it impossible to see what was suppose to be on there. would of been way cooler if the made the tvs flicker on and off..... darn misleading box pictures <('-'<)

It's made on purpose to have this odd look...

Of course it isn't a McFarlane or Side Show statue but we didn't pay over 300 dollars for the statue either. So for what we paid, I think it's totally cool.

I don't understand people who expect resin and perfect quality statues when the CE was only 100 dollars :/

Yeah, most negative reviews for CE's with Figures/Statues are people expecting to get the $300 statues are a "bargain" or something in the CE.

I never expect anything of super quality, specially if it's under $150.
