that coin is cool..are those colors standard on the coin? or is it from some form of holographic lighting effect?.

Its holographic. Actually caught this on the news here, there are a bunch of other designs and a gold one that costs $750, something like that. The lettering reads "75 years of superman" in kryptonian.
