Hello everyone,
I just joined this community and I feel like writing a short introduction and show part of my small collection.
I live in Italy and I'm a fan of Monkey Island and Prince Of Persia since early '90s.
My interest in buying original copies of old games brought me on eBay, where I became both collector and experienced seller: throughout the last 8 years I have been buying and shipping literally thousands of collectible items (from and) to every corner of this planet - Peru, Brazil, Indonesia, Australia, Fiji Islands, Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, you name it.
Being the natural evolution of Prince Of Persia, the first Assassin's Creed got my attention immediately and I truly loved the early games in the series and I started collecting AC items.
I almost stopped between AC Revelations and AC3 when I understood that it became a culture phenomenon, a mandatory yearly release and it definitely got too popular for my pocket with all those editions and gadgets and merchandise.
I also live in a very small room, so now I only own selected items of new releases (a Freedom Edition, a Join Or Die Edition and the CE Strategy Guide for AC3).
This is a very small collection but I have several rarely seen items, such as
AC2 promotional leather Codex book, very first version made of cotton-like pages and extremely limited;
AC1 original numbered metal box;
Promotional t-shirts such as the "Night Of The Assassin" one;
AC2 Japanese perfect guide CE + special Lineage DVD;
AC Revelations LED keyholder;
Promotional and limited edition AC Brotherhood hoodies...
Sorry I don't have a complete picture yet. Here are the first pictures of my collection (updated to AC Brotherhood). More to come in a near future.

Hey, welcome to the forum. Glad to see you finally make your intro. Show us pics of your other collection soon. As much as we love Assassin's Creed here, some may be tired of it already.
I'm with you on Prince of Persia, love that series lots. Still wishing for the next one.
Also some pics of this:

This is very different from the beautiful Codex released with AC Brotherhood. Much bigger, rough and way more realistic (amazing for cosplay purpose - oops, wrong word in a forum of collectors:hammer:).
I spent months searching and paid a fortune for it. It was given to very few selected people at the launch event of Assassin's Creed II in Milano, 1 year before the Codex Edition of ACB came out.
I bought it from someone who got it at the event. I may part ways with it sooner or later.
Welcome and how unfortunate that you would sell your AC collection.
I'm with everyone that getting jealous of the AC2 promo codex.
maybe a better picture of the codex book? that is interesting as I never seen that ever..

Thanks. First post updated!
More pictures of the leather Codex book can temporarily be found at codex.shutterfly.com (codex.shutterfly.com)
Can anyone please suggest me a better site to easily upload and manage picture collections?
I need at least access to direct links of the images and album/folders. I can't access direct links of my own images on Shutterfly!

Is there anything inside the codex book?
Or are all the pages blank?

Thanks for the hint, I might try flickr.
The Codex pages are blank and extremely rough, as if they were made of cotton or some other rough textile matter.
The overall look (and feel) is very rough and realistic.

Mate, I run to your tread again and checked your collection,
Special Lineage DVD? what other information you can share to us? may I see a better pic of it? is it the one on the Japanese AC2 Art book?
BTW, I'm not really in to apparels but you've got quite a few interesting tees and hoods :D

Yeah, I used to collect promotional and rare Assassin's Creed clothes until AC Revelations came out. Some items are really cool.
One of the most interesting items is the limited Ezio replica hooded sweatshirt:

The DVD you are talking about comes in a transparent plastic sleeve and it is attached to (what I believe) the first press of the Japanese Assassin's Creed II Perfect Guide shown below. I don't know if this is attached to the other versions of the book as well.
This japanese DVD includes Assassin's Creed Lineage in its entirety plus Making Of scenes and other bonus features.

Oh so you mean, the DVD included in that art book is a Lineage DVD?
I actually did not open mine or play the DVD so no idea what's on it. ,, Cool.

You have some interesting pieces
I love that Italy gets such unusual and cool items but there usually so hard to get hold of
Like the night of the assassin shirt I have never seen
And a couple of the others I have not seen before and would love to see a picture of the front and back of each
that is one reason I'm not collecting Tshirts or hoodie at the moment,
some of them are hard to find, very limited and rare. there are lots of things to collect and difficult to complete.
and yes, collectibles from Italy are awesome.

It is also very difficult to determine if a shirt is
Official
Or licensed
Or promotional
Or pre order bonus
Or limited edition
Or dev clothing
Or press gift
Or retailer promotional (for employees)
Or fake
There are to many variations
Although I have a good idea on most pieces based on the clothing tag, but people seem very unwilling to show me pictures of clothing tags and simply state "IT IS SIZE *"
But the makers name (on the clothing tag) of the shirt is more important then the size

Assassin's Creed is extremely popular in Italy, so it often gets exclusive releases and yes, some are not easy to get hold of.
I have an idea about the origin of each shirt (fake included).
You will definitely see many more pictures in the next months - I'm just too busy for now and could only take a few and post old ones.

^ True.
and sometimes the designs are a bit simple, it is easy to imitate (:quote: pirate :skull:) :p

Could you list (when you have time) which are official and which are fake
Also where each one cones from
As this helps everybody out

Sure. The only one I have doubts about (which is very likely to be unofficial) is the white Assassin's Creed t-shirt close to the Night of the Assassin one: too thin, too transparent, too cheap to be authentic. It's one of my favourite, nonetheless, it fits perfectly.
I remember the facts about each shirt, I will list details and, of course, better pictures.
