McFarlane officially announced the Halo 4 Master Chief Resin Statue which is based on the Cover from the video game...

the statue looks pretty badass, would love to get this one, hopefully i can get it here :drool:

"The upcoming highly detailed, hand-painted, cold-cast resin statue stands approximately 12 inches tall (with base) and features three interchangeable weapons: the Assault Rifle, Energy Sword, and Boltshot."

Got the email on this one yesterday! This is a definite MUST HAVE for me - now to just find out how to pay for it ;)

Really hoping there's room for it to be signed on the bottom as there doesn't appear to be room anywhere else. Definitely one to take to the conferences for a signature too!

it looks nice. i just wish that mcfarlane would upgrade to doing polystone statues rather than resin. resin does not incorporate the authentic textures and colors tend to be glossy when they should be matte.

Interesting that they're releasing this "Halo 4" statue so far after the games release too, I guess they just felt bad that they didn't release a "Legendary" edition for the game. Would be nice if they included a "Legendary" edition with this and the GOTY edition though. :)

Looks stunning but I got no interest in Halo..

I'm not very well-versed in the different materials used for statues but I read Jerry from PopCultureShockToys commenting that using resin can give you more finer details but yea plus and minuses for everything I guess..

i think there will be also a unpainted artist proof version, cuz on the back of the base you can see its limited to 950... so 50 unpainted artist proof version =)

yes, same like the AC4 Statue! even the "Curse of Spawn" statue which i own has a unpainted artist proof version, looks like McFarlane like that kind of versions ^^

yes, the plate on the Curse of Spawn statues are hand signed by Todd McFarlane... but i think he was in hurry on signin my plate ^^

Would love to see more pics of that Spawn. I've always been a silent fan of Spawn stuff. Saw those cool Spawn figures since young.

yeah same here, i also was since i was young a silent fan of spawn, i never readed the comics, but i loved the character Spawn, the design is really nice, and i love his colors, Red/Black/White, really nice... thats why Deadpool reminds me somehow on spawn, almost same colors ^^
