Is it just me or does anyone find it weird that the picture shown of the Europe Collectors edition the beanie isn't a full on replica but the US one is.

The US one looks more detailed with the stripes down in and the little grey bit at the bottom of it. The Europe one is just a coloured beanie....thats it

Has anyone asked SuckerPunch or know themselves if thats what we are going to get. I mean if the US CE is getting a beanie then surely they can't use the same one for all them. I was at GAME today and they had these in stock but not allowed to sell them yet. I had it in my hand and was joking about tugging and pulling but gave it back. :)

A few people I know went to the Infamous 3 event and they gave away all the stuff inside that CE apart from the cute jacket. So they got the badges, coin, bottle opener and beanie! That makes up half of range CE already.

Still can;t understand... they must just be doing clean sweep on everything they see. Instead of watching to see if I spoiled anything new (which I did not.... showed only the 2 confirmed powers and that is it). Figured if i just showed only what has been seen already i would be fine... guess not.

Personally I think both CEs are not very nice (and the Press Kit for that matter). I am a statue guy myself but most statues are not done very well so it is hard to stand up for them.

But I really do not want a beanie hat and pins.

Wow... I just did a tag and the paint was black and the sun was shiny on it and the paint looks and actually dies like real paint.

It has an amazing animation that is exactly how spray paint looks when you apply it and it starts to dry and change slightly. It is the little things.

Also the particle effects in this game are just the best i have seen so far. I see reviews coming in... the complaint i see from some are the story and morality choices (the morality system has always been something reviews have complained about.... not sure what they expect).

It is getting most reviews in the 8-9 range. For me I love inFAMOUS games and this i more inFAMOUS so I am happy as hell wit the game.

I've never been a huge infamous fan. Its good, but the morality system and story like you mentioned have always been an issue for me. Doesn't look like that has changed but the graphics look way better. I always thought infamous had kinda bland visuals but SS looks fantastic.

I have never had an issue with either as it was not what i liked about the game... the gameplay is the feature i get inFAMOUS games for. To run around an open city a super-powered badass.

But i have never felt the story or morality choices were bad in any way. The main complaint from the reviewers is they wanted something more of different from them. Personally I think they expect too much if they want a completely different tangent for evil then good... it is just not really feasible when there are so many choice points and a central story.


I think the others were bland because people were dying from the plague caused from the raysphere and the city's were quarantined for disease control. So it was on purpose.

I usually go evil actually, I find it more fun. But yeah, I prefer the Mass Effect kind of morality where you can still agree with how you're playing the game and not just feel like a douche.

But I've been doing hero so far in SS. Overall enjoying the game.

Tomorrow's update for inFamous: Second Son will give players the option to turn off the game's heads-up display, cap the frame rate at 30 frames per second, and, after clearing the story, change the in-game time of day. But that's not all: there's also a new Photo Mode!

As demonstrated in the video above, this mode goes far enough to include depth-of-field adjustments, so it should prove to be a pretty neat addition for Second Son. The photo editor can be used whenever you have free control of the camera (i.e., outside of cut scenes).

Rounding out the update are a few less interesting but no less important things, like crash fixes, tweaked localization text, and automatic pausing if your controller runs out of power.

One last note, per Sucker Punch: "these options and settings, including frame rate, will reset to defaults each time you restart the game. We chose to not disturb our game save file format with this patch in order get these features to you as quickly as we could."
