If all else fails you can use tenso. It's a forwarding service (www.tenso.com)

never heard of tenso..but I am looking into it..thank u for the pointer..btw, have you used their services personally before?...do you know for instance, if I order a package of amazon japan?..do they open the package and rebox it?..or just leave the box sealed and then forward said box?..or do they repackage it in their own box?

They repack it for you. They will try to pack it as light as possible.

so using them is NOT good idea for a sealed collector?..repacking "light as possible?" opens up the opportunity for damage during shipment now? do they not use bubblewrap or LOL..leave well enough alone?..is tenso risky?..how has it turned out for you?..please keep in mind I am a sealed mint collector..is tenso a good idea for me?

Japanese are the most careful when it comes to packaging and conserving items, specially collectibles. Good customer service is priority and part of their culture. If you won't trust them, there is no one else left in this world.

Source: Personal experience, though not with Tenso.

Well. I had a bad experience with a japanese seller, he said the item was in perfect condition and sent it with terrible protection and in bad shape.

Culture has nothing to do with it.

EDIT: Did you check the other amazon websites?

Fair enough. I guess it comes down to individuals. But I really did have a great expericence with Japanese sellers.

Haven't used tenso before. But I'm a registered member and there is no registration fee. They are just asking for your payment information to charge your for shipping and usage fee (they are not helping you for free) once you used their service.

I always use Nippon-Yasan (http://www.nippon-yasan.com/lang-en/)

It's not a forwarding service but you can always use their contact form and ask them to find a product for you.

Worked pretty good for me in the past.

Edit: Or try using Rakuten.com, maybe one of the sellers has your wanted item :)
