Today Square Enix has announced the Collector's Edition of, the last game set in the Final Fantasy XIII universe, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII.

The game will?only be available on what's just become the last generation, in written words PS3 & Xbox 360, and is hitting stores on Febraury 11th, 2014 in North America and only two days later February 14th, 2014 in Europe.

I just ordered this for someone and went through paypal and I did NOT receive any type of confirmation...it just took me back to the order page, but on top it said something like "order completed" but I am not too sure on that..for those that ordered, are you receiving identical "receipts"?...plus are you charged TAX?...they charged me SALES TAX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

by the way, it was not easy..i was on the phone 3 days in a row, at on average 90 mins each time and wrote 4 e-mails and attempted to place 3 orders....to get to this point...I will NEVER order with DR again..the headaches isn't worth it.

the website was hopeless for me...it took me 3 separate calls with digital river..some as long as 90 mins and 3 e-mails to square enix and lastly multiple order attempts...to finally yes receive an e-mail confirmation.(confirmation is a farce when it comes to digital river by the way)..you'd know if you placed a successful order once release day comes and it is or isn't at your door during release week.."confirmation" should be "instant" I was told if order were successful...my order got successfully placed on 3rd or 4th attempt over the phone...try calling them and see if they can help you.

your friend should really do it by phone..expect to be on phone for about 30mins to 45 mins at least..and make sure he has a valid e-mail address..and good thing is you can call anytime..they answer the phone 24-7 (digital river)

After struggling to place an order last night on the SQEX Store I had to ring them today to try place an order over the phone. They said to keep trying the site so I did it at work and it worked!

However I got a message saying thank you and the order will be processed and I'll be notified of the results shortly.

I rang them a few hours later and they were able to give me an order number because they see my order go through on their end. :)

I just need to wait 24-72 hours for them to process it with their accounts department. Fingers crossed it goes through as this had been hassle for sure and glad I didn't have to ask someone else to do this for me. It's too much of a favour to be asking someone else lol.

Glad you were able to get through -- I also had some issues but moreso with my account (since I've had issues since day#1). Got it squared away (no pun intended) fairly easily though with a frustrating call or two.

After watching that unboxing I'm really not that impressed with this CE. I'm hoping the watch has some significance story-wise, cuz I'm not a huge fan of random paraphernalia in CEs, but either way, I guess its nice - especially with the artbook. I just prefer maps and things like that over random items that are not related to the game/series.

For those who are importing the CE for the 360, if you plan to play the game, you're going to need to purchase a copy of the game to go with your console region as this game has been region locked for the 360. :(

Yea, it was most likely overnight people putting it out; unfortunately most people at store level have no idea about release dates. People just put stuff on pallets and roll it out. There is also a street sell date that wont allow the pos to sell if it isnt after that date(due to team members buying stuff before hand/this situation)

for those individuals I was able to assist..your Digital River LR Collectors edition are here...Digital river shipped them in sturdy boxes, but with NO protection of any kind inside..so expect little bumps, dings, "shelfware" style nicks etc on the slipcase inside the cellophane wrapper...nothing major or all that noticeable, but with Digital River and there shipping methods with ZERO protection..this is as good as it is gonna get...I will PM later for further details/shipping etc..once I had a chance to go out and purchase shipping supplies and find suitable boxes for international delivery.

Well if it's any consolation to anyone, only the last one sold was for 215, the rest range from 149 to 179 on average.

I can understand preordering 5 but getting friends and family to sell all these is insane and risky!

He did well to profit hard out of this. Perhaps this person will get stung on another product that he'll try to sell.
