Hi everyone!

Up for sale is Crouching Altair statue that was gifted to me several years ago from a business partner at Ubisoft.

I also put it up on eBay earlier today:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/251410547048

Condition

A factory-sealed, MINT condition Assassin's Creed Altair Crouching Statue
Box Dimensions: 16.0cm x 16.0cm x 16.0cm
Weight: 343 grams (including decorative outer box)

Please Note...
As it's still factory-sealed, I am unable to open the box to take direct pictures of the statue. I did my very best to take close-ups from the window opening with my DSLR, which should give you a good idea of the box and the statue itself.

Photos
11 of the 12 photos on eBay are originals that I've taken with my DSLR. The last photo with the statue itself is a stock photo I found on the internet so you have an idea what it looks like.

Its hard for me to make out the detail of the pictures with the glare from the light source

Greetings LowlyAssassin,

Unfortunately, I couldn't find a good angle into the contoured window without getting any refraction or reflection. Short of opening the box and taking out the statue, I don't think there's a good way to get a clean, detailed close-up look of our friend mister Altair :-)

That said, I think those interested in the statue has a fairly good idea what he looks like from seeing other owner's unboxed collection. That last image (not mine obviously) I think is a good indication of what the statue looks like.

I can give it another shot though if you're interested. Perhaps I can try shooting in another room with artificial lighting. The original photos I put up was taken in our bathroom which has natural light coming in from the ceiling.

I meant I could not see the detail and condition of the box with the reflection if light on the outer cardboard box as in my eyes the condition of the box on this figure is more important then the figure

Now I understand. Thanks for the clarification. Time-permitting, I'll see if I can sneak in some time tomorrow to take additional photos of the outer box without glare. Should be easy given the surface is mostly matte finish unlike the plastic shell holding the figure.

Merry Christmas all.

Below are photos of the box I took this morning in multiple angles. Upon second look, the box material is somewhat glossy, so any more lighting including artificial ones cause massive glare.

I took shots of each side (4 panes), in-betweens (one shot per corner), top view, and then bottom. Hopefully this suffices.

EDIT: The file name on the SkyDrive description pane should tell you what angle it's being viewed from.

Cheers
William

Sold!

The statue now belongs to an unnamed, diehard AC fan and memorabilia collector.

Thanks for watching!

Indeed. He did mention he's not a member or a forum visitor. But now he may be inclined to join as I've made him aware of this site. A great place to showcase his collection to like-minded AC fans :-)
