Hey Guys! I go by Selene or my username, whatever you prefer. I am from the US. I used to have a lot larger of a collection, but a lot of it has been sold for tuition and expenses. I found this site while search for the Panasian Dragon Age Origins Wooden Box. I am still on the hunt for it, and the DAO Press Kit. I tend to collect for specific brands. Right now my fix is Dragon Age and Mass Effect. My Mass Effect collection dwindled because I used it to pay off some bills, but once I am done with adding to my Dragon Age Collection, I will get back on it. I own a Playstation 1,2, and 3. I tend to use everything that I buy, so not much in my collection is still in the plastic. I know, I know, it is a terrible habit. Feel free to message me. I am always browsing eBay for a good deal.

Nice little collection. And don't worry about having anything in plastic. Not a bad habit. I have a few things myself which I use from my collection :P

Welcome! And very nice collection! No worries about not keeping anything in plastic either -- I did that for awhile, and while its true they'll be worth WAY MORE, down the road (for certain items), I prefer to use/play mine too! :banana:

I enjoy and envy seeing peoples opened items. I generally keep mine sealed often wondering what its like on the inside.

Have you read all the Dragon Age novels? I've wanted to just never took the time to.

The only thing I usually keep sealed are figurines. I actual have a set of the Dragon Age DC Figurines, Mass Effect Funko Pop, and Flemeth Statue on the way. They just didn't arrive in time for these photos. I might be purchasing a couple different editions of origins sealed, I haven't decided yet. I just have trouble buying double at the initial release, a lot of times that just isn't a financial option.

As far as the Dragon Age Novels, YES. I tore through the whole series in about three days. I really wish I lived closer to a Con so I could get Gaider to sign them! The Stolen Throne is a good read, and it may change your view on Loghain a little. As far as must reads, It is an excellent idea to read The Calling before playing DA:Awakening, and you should definitely read Asunder, before Inquisition. You can buy them all fairly cheap on Amazon, and they really do add to the lore and inform decisions in the games.

The KH 1.5 HD Game and guide were gifts for Christmas. They are really gorgeous. I am very happy with them. I believe they are cheapest on Amazon at the moment.

Just got my Funko Pop Garrus and Grunt Figurines in. They are well made, and quite detailed. I am very happy with their looks and I am really debating about taking them out of their packaging. They were about $11 (with shipping) each.

No worries! I am incredibly hard to offend. :p It is nice to find a community that has a shared interest. I have been scrolling through old threads and have found some really interesting pieces and have been able to price pieces much better than I would have been able on my own.

Plus you guys' random thread is pretty amusing.

I bought Grunt and Garrus first, because they are my favorite ME2 Team, but also as a sort of quality control test. I am really happy with them, so I might be investing in Tali, Miranda, and Shepard soon. The prices are really fluxing at the moment, so I might be buying the rest of the team on eBay. I am finding them at about 7 each.

I am sort of in denial because I have been resisting buying the Funko Pop figures forever. I didn't want to start up a new collecting hobby, but alas the Mass Effect Figures were too cute to resist.

I definitely think I will. I probably won't be focussing back on Mass Effect for a while, unless I find a great deal. A lot of the Mass Effect Merchandise has really shot up in price recently. -.- Which is lovely for the established collection, but since I had sold so much, it is a bit disheartening to my wallet. <3

Sorry for so many updates, but my Dragon Age: Origins Series 1 Figures from DC Unlimited came in. I managed to snag them for a deal during the Holiday Season. The figures except for the Genlock($20) average about $60 each with Morrigan closer to $80, and I got them for about $120 for the full set.

the statue comes from the injustice Collectors edition

and it's not missing a leg it's just the angle she took the picture

No, he has the leg, it is just a poor angle and I am a mediocre photographer. It is the statue from the Injustice Collector's Edition (US Version). I have the box in storage from my recent move. Here is an image of all that was included with that edition.

I've been personally trying really hard to not buy a single Funko Pop! Vinyl only because I know I will want to collect them all (happened to me when I got one Skylanders figure..until now, I always get the urge to buy them when I see them :lmao:)

Thanks, I noticed that there seems to be very few who collect Dragon Age, thought Mass Effect seems to be doing well. You will have to point any Dragon Age paraphernalia my way then dear. <3 Plus you guys needed a Dragon Age Specialist :p

Dragon Age 2 was a combination of pushing a game out too soon, and trying to appeal to a more wide and button smashing audience. I blame a lot of it on EA, they wanted a smaller cheaper world and were banking on the previous games reputation. I enjoyed the game, but at points it has an excessively tedious feel to it, especially when trying to collect all of the trophies for it.

I think with the mass outcry from Dragon Age 2 and the disappointment from Mass Effect 3's ending, EA has learned to give Bioware back more of their control. I think Dragon Age Keep is an amazing idea and I am excited to see where it goes, and despite the skeptics, I believe Dragon Age: Inquisition might even outshine Origins. Not to mention I am supremely excited to play a Mage!Qunari Inquisitor.

Haha, I had thought about it, but I had already platinumed the game, and at the time I had other games I had just wanted more. It has just kind of slipped my mind.

If you ever see it, get it ;) it's worth having it in the collection! I only have to finish Hardcore Mode to get the platinum trophy..
