Just starting out

Hi guys! My name is Sara Nicolas and it is pleasure to meet you all. I've actually just started collecting games since I was not fortunate enough to discover this website until a few months ago. I mostly like to collect CEs for games that I know I'll really really love, so I'll probably have a small collection for awhile. Hopefully once I get the hang of it, I can expand my collection. I'm absolutely in love with all things Legend of Zelda and Batman, so you'll see that my main collection is pretty much centered on that. I'm still hunting for a few things so there'll be some stuff missing.

As of right now, I only have a few CEs so I'll post those when I get home.

EDIT: And now through looking, I will probably start hunting for steelbooks lmao. This site makes me so happy, but sad at the same time.

EDIT 2: Finally! After having some free time, I've been able to post my collection. It is incredibly small, but I hope that I'll be able to eventually expand it to a modest size in the future.

I will keep updating since a bulk of my new collectors will be coming this year :D. Thanks for looking!

Dude Tales of Xillia is awesome. I just wish I had gotten the CE of that one. And I totally missed out on the Tales of Symphonia Chronicles CE :(. I'm playing Tales of Abyss on the 3DS and Luke is bitch to play as.

I've only just started collecting for like 3 games last year and I've pretty much got all that I wanted for Tales of Symphonia already... It's very hard to collect stuff for the other 2. At least they ain't any more stuff coming out for them which makes them easier to collect and finish. (Not really, the stuff is hard as fuck to find) Just don't collect everything and you will do fine!

JRPGs are so interesting because they make you feel like an explorer! Sandbox games don't make me feel like you're exploring because you don't feel like you have an goal or the world is too small, not enough towns and secrets or they give you too much freedom that you don't feel like doing the story anymore which was your goal in the first place and then you lose interest in playing... unless it's Baldur's Gate on PC! (That's an WRPG done right! Skyrim you suck!!!)

JRPGs are fun if they tie exploring and story together.

Damn so lucky. I really wish I had gotten into Tales sooner, then I could've collected a bunch of the Tales items. I don't really collect individual items they come out with, just those that are bundled with the game.

Right?? JRPGs is my favorite out of all the gaming genres. The only good thing about sandbox games is that they're good for mindless fun I think. I could never get into WRPG's though.

Unfortunately, the map does look like shit. At the time, I was only concerned about having the physical copy of the map included in the box.

This was give to Gamestop managers in a "pack" that included a few of them. Depending on the manager they were either given out with the first pre-orders of the game, given to friends (how I got mine) or frequent shoppers, sold on Ebay, or given to their employees.

I was sad that they didn't include an actual number, but its one of the nicest Laser Cels I own (the AC4 one is also really nice).

Also, my Zelda collection isn't really anything that great, just some games and guides and posters a few other bits and bobs - there's others on here who've got EVERY statue, every cover art, etc. etc. (and then of course the crazy awesome "Museum" shown recently).

Ohhh okay I actually do remember getting that. Yeah I was able to get one from the people I knew at GameStop, which was awesome. It is actually a very nice one. I'm glad that I didn't sell it. Heh I think everyone's Zelda collection is absolutely amazing on this site. I wish I could get all the F4F statues, cards etc. Just too much merch!

Hmm I think that it's the second edition copies. I heard that the first edition copies have the tray glued to the box. It seems shiny gold... but it also seems matte lmao ;__;. Yeah the old games were the absolute first thing I got since I knew it'd get more expensive down the line. I wish that I could get the limited edition OoS and OoA.

Wow Sara! Gorgeous update! Your Final Fantasy collection looks really amazing! (I've been saved quite a few $'s since I don't collect PS3/PS4 games with that franchise)

I'm really jealous about the Skyward Sword steels too! I just haven't found the right price for those yet. Did you get them from someone on here or are you the person I've been bidding against on eBay? ;)

Again, a marvelous update and those jrpgs CEs look amazing! :drool: (what is the CE below the Vita "Conception" pics? - I thought it was Eternal Poison, but after further examination I see that it is not)

Haha thanks Chris! Definitely appreciate it since a lot of other people's collections are huge. Smh you're so lucky. I wish I could stop collecting Final Fantasy, but the temptation just pulls me in. I guess there really aren't a lot of Xbox merch and stuff.

Haha I definitely had a hard time with the Skyward steels, especially finding one in mint condition. The Futureshop steel unfortunately came with a bunch of scratches, but I can't complain. I got the Futureshop one through a steelbook trade. The other one is from Ryaku when he had a sale earlier o.o. I can't remember how much I got it for.

JRPG CE's are my absolute favorite to collect. The one below Conception is the Demon Gaze limited edition from NIS. Came out in February or March I believe. I wish I had Eternal Poison :P.

New update!! I have to say that this is my favorite acquisition so far. I'm so in love with this and anything related to Kingdom Hearts:D! If any of you have KH merch that you are looking to get rid of, please let me know! And I was lucky enough to not even pay for this.
