I like the bay cover LE's but they are not LE consoles

Could be... I was waiting for it to be honest. I knew this could happen when I saw how that came off.

Yeah I bet it was more of a happy coincidence... something that was designed for ease of use to change out the HD.

Yeah I hope they do some cool full LE consoles.

There must be some decal kits already out there. PS4 is much better for stickers then PS3 ever was.

I'm kind of annoyed its just a faceplate. The design is ok but its not epic. If I'm going to pay a fortune I want the whole package. I'm hoping the faceplates alone won't cost a bomb on Ebay >.<

Yeah I really loved the XB360 faceplates too! ^^ Still got a few really nice ones knocking about. The best ones were for JRPGs. :thumb:

They will cost a bomb. Some XB360 faceplates did, so no reason why these wouldn't. :S

While I agree that that price is unbelievable.. there is no way you can get a PS4 for $245.

If you can, please let me know where so I can buy a bunch.

Yeah the one you posted Dan would be the cheapest... not the one Likely posted (may be the cheapest separate).

What you would do is buy the one you posted, switch the plates and sell the PS4 and the game and whats left is much less then the $245.

That's exactly what i'm thinking of doing with the MGS. I'm buying a PS4 for my nephew, so i will get him the bundle with the MSG faceplate.. I will keep the faceplate he keeps the PS4 everyone is a winner :1:

of course i would never tell him the faceplate came with the PS4 lol

Haha, he would never know because they only supply the PS4 consoles with plain packaging. :/

I heard the MGS 5 one isn't etched on whereas the FFXIV one is. So does that mean the MGS 5 one is a decal only?

I have no idea, but my nephew wants ground zeros and a ps4. So, with that bundle is two birds with one stone.

I'll keep you guys informed on the faceplate :X

they are both laser etched, and surface is clean and glossy just like the rest of the finish of the console

its not a decal or paint which can be rubbed off ( think xbox360 rofl)

oh by the way, remember to tell your nephew his new ps4 plays only Region B Bluray.

my only question is if the PS4 faceplate will fit any PS4 or only the ones which interchangeable faceplates.

i never tried taking off the faceplate off my PS4.

The faceplate is actually the cover for the HDD bay
