View Full Version : F4F Twilight Princess Zelda Statue 1/4
My dream statue is finally being made!!! F4F have preorders up for a statue of Zelda from Twilight Princess. It's 1/4 size/17 inchs tall! I am so excited for this. It'll cost a bomb and the edition is far too big imo but finally a statue of Zelda :banana:

Wow.. this statue is beautiful. Really love the intricate details on her dress, all hand painted. And they offer payment plan...
i personally wouldn't buy a zelda statue but it truly is very nicely done

I never collect any Zelda stuffs, but this statue is really well done. And Dan, your Magikarp is so damn distracting. I found myself staring at it..

Q4 - I better make sure I remember I ordered this :) I hope its to scale with the other ones - the Darunia was really out of scale with the Ganon/Dark Link etc. Hate when companies does that :(

Yeah, I just had the newsletter land in my inbox. :D They have done a really nice job of this statue. Really can't wait for this one to come out. Feels like we've been waiting forever for her. :D
Nice price too. :D Not as expensive as the last 2 statues I got from them at nearly $500. :S This one is just a bit over 200GBP, so can't really complain. :D

I know I never thought they'd make this either! I couldn't believe they had made Zant before Zelda >.< True Form Midna would be a really nice addition to this line. I really must pick up Ganondorf and Wolf Link now. I have Link on Epona but due to Epona, Link is massively scaled down which is disappointing :(

Really surprised that there isn't an "exclusive" edition though, especially with such a large run on the standard edition - would've loved an smaller run size exclusive, but I'll take what I can get :)

Tbh I'm glad there's not an exclusive for her. I can't imagine they could have done much different tbh and if they did what they did with the Link on Epona, I just think it would ruin her tbh. :S

True, as I was typing that I was trying to imagine what they'd do - couldn't really do another face/head, and though people may want a different dress/outfit, you can't really easily switch that out, could've possibly given her a different weapon and headdress or something - and yeah, bronzing her wouldn't look good either, so its probably for the best.
I don't think a head swap would work so the only other thing they could do is a different base, perhaps a light up one of some sort. She doesn't use any other weapon except for light arrows/bow which could look pretty awesome. Or the arm was detachable and you could have her holding up her hand with the triforce piece of wisdom on it. That'd be pretty cool.
I do kind of want an exclusive version purely because 2500 is a massive edition for a statue of this size. Zelda is popular but I would have thought Link would have been the most popular and the Link on Eponas haven't even sold out :/
I wouldn't put it past them to announce the exclusive edition further down the line either. They released Darunia and a few months after it went on sale they released an exclusive version. I didn't buy it but I remember people being furious.

With the Darunia incident F4F Suffered a lot of backlash for that and they did say that it wouldn't be done again. With Darunia though, the Sage base was allegedly the original design which they planned for him and since they were continuing manufacturing of the remainder of the original Darunia set, they decided to make the exclusive set with the base they originally planned. Im not saying it's acceptable, but still. i quite liked the Sage Darunia! ^^ Still holding hope for OoT sage statues! ^^ Also it was over 12 months since the original release of Darunia and the Exclusive.
Ah, I wasn't that informed about the whole Darunia thing^^;; I can't really see them doing it again but there is still time for an exclusive Zelda to be announced before this one goes on sale.
Also back to the bronze Link on Epona comment from earlier, I disliked it a lot at first but I got one completely by chance when one was really cheap on Ebay (the seller didn't put Zelda in the listing title). When it arrived it actually looked so much better in person than it does in the photos. I'm really pleased I've got the bronze version in the end.

How cheap may I ask? I still plan to get one. Gonna treat myself to one if I get another tax rebate this year. :v:
Well, it was still expensive in a sense, it went for ?150 inc shipping (within UK) but its so damn heavy. He had a Wolf Link and Midna exclusive too which sold for ?200. I wish I had more cash to burn at the time as I would have loved to win that too. Truth be told I didn't even expect to win Link!

I'm gonna buy this one of course, she will be perfect next to zant, ganandorf and wolf link. Only hate it that she doesn't have an excl. But I'm glad we got finally a Zelda.:D

The price of these F4F figures (maybe just figures in general) has always prevented me from collecting them. Not to say I wouldn't love a Link on Epona, Sage Darunia, or Skull Kid. Just that I could get lots of items on my want list for the same price.
But this one...is preordered. Can't resist.

Just a quick one for those who reside in the UK and either have this on pre-order or are thinking about getting one, nintendo online store has this statue for £218.99 which works out to be about £15 cheaper than F4F after you take into account the cost of postage.
Just thought y'all might like to know. :thumb:
