These guys put out a lot of awesome VG statues that almost always go way up in value so I figure they should have a dedicated thread.

Next up is MK9 Baraka, open for preorder on Monday. Exclusive is limited to 200.

You get extra arms so you can choose between them coming forward (ex picture) or back like in the reg edition photo. I think.

Good thread! Wasn't sure if there was much interest in them so never posted. I know Mortal used to post a couple but not much response :P

I have all their Mortal Kombat statues on order. Their Street Fighter ones are super popular too.

That's probably true, but its always good for information/general interest's sake. Especially considering most of their exclusives sell out fast, and ebay prices are usually north of $1000.

I'm a big fan of their klassic line. Recently ordered Jade. Not too crazy about the MK9 line though, I'll probably pass on Baraka.

I'm not a big mileena fan haha. I try to get the characters that I like/use a lot, like sub. Hoping for a klassic Kitana, she's been my main for decades. Also ermac.

I do like it overall. Something about his eyes, eyebrows and bandana I'm not feeling. Won't stop me from adding one to my collection.

I'm most excited about Baraka! Probably my favorite MK statue so far.

The only statues I think they nailed the look was Gouken and Baraka. Ryu to me was the worst one of the bunch (grandpa ryu).

I like the ryu. I think that's just because I think the pose is good. Even more so the teeth and tongue on ryu are so realistic looking it's crazy. Wish I could've been there to see them in person.

Just POed the STD Baraka at my local retailer yesterday. Didn't think the extra cost of having to pay shipping was worth it for the EX. Will save that for the next, possibly Liu Kang.

Hopefully his EX will be a better option

Anyway, did they get back to you on the Shao Kahn statue. Their customer service is so horrible now, I'm afraid of paying my installment for the Scorpion Bust

Actually they never did get back to me. However my Shao Khan arrived yesterday. Was actually surprised but happy to finally have it. Only took them 4 months. It appears their CS is basically non existent, what a joke. As nice as their statues are you'd think they'd be able to handle the simpler tasks more efficiently.

That's awesome to hear about a Motaro! Can't wait! It appears this line is picking up momentum so maybe an Onaga will happen.

I was able to secure myself a Reptile and Scorpion so gotta find Sub Zero and Smoke for all the classics.

Really wish I would've started out with PCS rather than that other company.

Yea the low number was pretty awesome!

I love it, plenty of display options but the masked skull head was the one that sold it for me so I'll be choosing that. Besides, it will give a bit of variation to the other ninjas.

Goro was supposed to be when? I'm not getting any of their newsletters so I'm a bit lost now. Still no updates so hopefully not too long away.

Post some pics man, my Reptile hasn't even shipped yet :(

I think Goro was originally to be released September but I believe its been pushed to January with Baraka. So far based on what I've seen Baraka is my favorite.

Goro in January huh? As much as I want them fast, delays are good especially with AC Unity and AC Rogue coming up.. I don't dwell into too many franchises but I think I'm stuck in 2 of the most expensive gaming franchises around.. lol!

I checked my most recent newsletter from PCS and new release date for Goro is December.

I've procrastinated on ordering and paying in full for Goro until last week. Just a few min ago I received a full refund from PCS stating there was a glitch in their system saying he had already been sold out and my order shouldn't have been allowed to process. Bummer...

However BBTS still has some left so I've ordered one from them now. I kinda want the ex though.

Ah damn.. Yea I saw on the other forum that some orders are being cancelled.

This is one of the few statues that I was kinda disappointed with the EX. The standard head looks better imo. I still got the EX though, just because of OCD. Could have saved quite a lot just pre-ordering from my local dealer.. The decisions I make...

Are the eyes flesh colored on yours or is it just the lighting? Someone needs to wake him up.

The eyes are actually whitish with red veins.. like this.. Not the best pic though

Had high hopes for this Scorpion. When I first saw the pics my heart sank a little as I thought to myself "really, that's all it is?" I'm trying to like it buy it doesn't look like much sculpting at all went into this one. It's almost all wrapped in cloth! It looks neat but I was expecting so much more.

Yea it's plain but blame that on the old design.

I'm waiting to see close-up pics though. This one was sculpted by Jerry himself so there's a lot of excitement for it. I'm praying the price is reasonable enough. Never got a 1/3 statue before

I know it's on the old design. MK2 I believe. I'm not sure that I'm a big fan of the mixed media on statues. Mixed feelings about mixed media. So hard to keep it clean. With that said I doubt I'll pass on it.

I'm hoping the skull that was posted belongs to this one. I personally prefer Scorpion with a skull.

Will be my 2nd 1/3 statue even though I haven't received my 1st one yet. It's a predator. Should be getting it next month.

:scratch: Not too sure about the face, he looks old. Too much wrinkles. And for a museum pose, that scrunched-up face looks too much.

It was a bit tough to splurge on this but that skull head is soo sick! I'm trying not to start on this line but if SubZero and Reptile turn out to be this good, it's gonna take a mad person to say no to those.

I'm just hoping for a break before they go up for pre-order. I'm going for the 5-month payment plan for Scorpion but if I have 3 x 1/3 ninjas on the payment plans.. :rotf:

I got the Liu ex also.

This Scorpion has really grown on me. Especially with the skull. That'll be the only way I'll display it. Gotta pay in full upfront, hard to beat the 15% off!

Can't wait to see one of the bosses in 1/3 scale! Also really looking forward to seeing the MKX stuff being worked on. I know Scorpion and Sub Zero are the two most popular characters but I hope Jerry can hurry up and get them out of the way so other characters can be made. There are so many and it's taking so long to get around to them. If I had my way he would put all other licenses on the back burner for the next few years and solely pump out MK pieces lol. SF fans have plenty statues. We need more MK!

She's awesome, I still prefer her MK9 look but she'll grow on me. Out of the MKX characters, I'm hoping for a Quan Chi or Kotal Kahn statue.

Ordered the Blue Raiden EX. Seems like everytime I order, something screws up. Forgot to update addresses beforehand on the new website so I had to enter all the details on my phone, trying to get it ordered.

Lucky there was enough time to get one. Was considering getting a Red because of the low ES but it got sold out. No biggie, Blue EX was what I wanted! :beach:

Monday is the only day of the week I need to worry about rush hour traffic...any other day I'd have been sitting at my computer. :( I should have just stayed at school and waited for the preorder to come up, but I didn't set my reminder until 545 so I wasn't thinking about it. Very disappointing.

Don't think I'll ever be able to get a red ex, ebay prices will be ridiculous. I was able to get a Ryu EX from a different retailer after I missed that 1, perhaps I will be lucky enough to find a blue EX at regular price the same way. Otherwise I hope the ebay prices aren't too bad. Fuck!

We might or might not get the Blue EX here at Simply Toys here in Singapore but they always require us to purchase a pair (One standard + One EX) if you want to get the PCS EX. Shipping will cost a bomb anyway so can't help you out much.

I tried and tried for the p2 version but no luck. Wound up only being able to get the ex raiden. Will have to get the p2 one at release. Had it in my cart 5 separate times it just wouldn't let me check out.

Hopefully it won't be much longer for Goro to start shipping. I really want Baraka to hurry up and get here though.

Can't wait! Hope I'm able to get a pre order in for one. Really hate having to spend a couple/few extra hundred because I wasn't one of the lucky ones to have an order go through.

I understand you Dr Jengo about not being a SF fan. For me it's ok. I do enjoy it. After a few rounds I get an urge to play MK. I instantly fell in love with MK with the first one back in the 90's. MK has always been my go to series for fighting games.

Those PCS statues are just something special. I don't see myself missing any of them if I can help it. That 1/3 Akuma was a must have for me.

I had three friends trying to help me on the second chance for a Shin Akuma and still missed out. So aggravating!

Still lucky enough for a 1/3 Akuma. Good job! Somehow I never got into SF even though I'm from Asia where the majority of the gamers my generation live and breathe SF. I always enjoyed the lore of MK more, thought it was cooler.

From the newsletter, Spine Rip is removable. Would have liked the iceball to be removable also to be honest..

Preorder will be out on 6 April.. damn hope I get one!

I agree. I definitely intend to display it with the spine rip but will look odd with the ice ball also there. Both really need to be removable. Depending on how it actually turns out in the end I might even look into getting someone that does custom work to fix it for me so it can be removable.

Yea the ice hand looks a lot better without the ice ball.

The LED display works only with a dark shelf but that will go well with the Skull Head Scorpion though..

I'm with you on hoping it doesn't become the norm either as I'm considering going after all 3 and probably would every time.

Blood god is my favorite.

I'd really rather see them focus on the classic line and finish it off then move on to others. I really hate that the MK9 is dead after only 5 statues. Baraka is the best MK statue released so far imo. I don't believe a new classic character has been shown this year.

Sadly, classic line is going to be pushed back and the focus will be on MKX for this year. The Classic Kintaro has also been pushed back to next year for now :(

Same here.. Going for Blood God first before I consider the rest.. Love the weapon on War God actually but the Blood God version is more significant to his character.

Nice on the Blood God artist proof. That's the one I was hoping to get one for but I got an ap for the Sun God. Which seems odd as I ordered him last out of the 3. Honestly though I could care less about actually having a ap I just want the statue. However it is fun trying to score one.
