This was upsetting for me too. I think a steelbook should be an obvious necessity for any CE.

100% mate, its crazy that they find it acceptable to release CEs with no steel. It is probably the most important thing in a CE for me.

Oh yeah. The things I want in a CE are either a steelbook or a bonus DVD. If you aint got either. And instead you give me a toy...I will be purchasing the standard version, lol.
