i thought i'd get this thread going since the square enix japan website has priced and released preliminary information of all the different editions available on the japanese market exclusively through square enix japan..my gut tells me we in the west, will see some sort of special edition maybe announced during E3?..but some of this japan editions sound pretty exciting.

I really wanted to order a pair of these Japanese dual packs but all the major export retailers are SOLD OUT!!! :( I was checking pretty regularly but they sold out in a blink of an eye...anybody have tips as to anyone still offering pre orders?

The hole editions do not even seem worth it much except the most expensive they are just adding to each other rather then really being all that different.

According to Tai Yasue they are planning to come out with a collector's edition and/or Limited edition from what he said during his IGN interview.

anybody else have any trouble lately ordering from Nin-nin games?...I keep getting errors messages when on the final step for paypal check out....I have been unsuccessful in ordering one of the Japanese editions..can someone tell me other major japan export sites other than amiami? Nippon yasin? and play asia? and eurotaku? and yamato touch?.i need more names please :)

the US standard edition can be upgraded for free during the preorder period to the "limited" edition, which ONLY includes a official Disney Mickey/Sora collectable trading pin, similiar to what capcom did in the US for Ducktales remastered, supposedly this free preorder upgrade is EXCLUSIVE to the square enix online digital river store..this information i lifted from reputable sites who say it's 99% chance of being legit.

Yes, but then it was taken down. I really hope that is not the limited edition because I will just get the regular version if that is the case.........

it was taken down, because it was not suppose to be shown until today (24th) due to it first being shown at SDCC which starts today...it will be a FREE upgrade from the standard edition as a preorder...ONLY from digital river..it is an official Disney licensed trading pin..which has a strong demand from pin collectors..but all this could change during the official reveal..but as of now..this is all we know.

So this isn't exclusive to Square Enix. Gamestop has the collector's pin and limited edition as a Gamestop bonus.

I did not think it would be exclusive to their store because Disney own part of the game as well and I don't think they would like it to be available to only one online store. So it's not exclusive to the Square Enix store. YAY for that at least.
