Hello all! I have been like some who have been lurking and going through other people's posts to admire people's collections. I am based in Texas (as I have seen a couple of people who are as well). I collect mainly for the Xbox 360 as this is my console of choice and will try to collect for the PS3's exclusives and the Wii. I have yet to "upgrade" to the PS4 or One. I try to only collect for the North American region.

I figure if I introduce myself it would help "force" me to try to be more active in the community and help show you guys what I have. Because of what I have read, I enjoy the positive feedback this community has given each other.

To give a little sneak peek of my collection, I will post an "old" picture of anything that is considered display worthy from my collections. I definitely will open any games if they have statues, merchandise, anything worth displaying. :wave:

Shelving was from Ikea, their 4x4 Expedit model x2. Paid $120 per.

I'm in Lewisville (DFW) but originally from West Texas. I believe you and another person on here are the two people I saw that were from Texas. I enjoyed your collection.

Wow! That's a pretty awesome display! Its nice to see some Zelda love over in the corner with the Master Sword and Hylian Shield replicas too! ;) Welcome to the forum mate! Also, I think you may be the only person on the site that has a giant Gamestop sign ;)

Haha, maybe. I would love to see if other people did the same. Thank you for the warm welcome. Hopefully soon, when I can get my gf to help me, I'll update this to show you the collection. I was thinking of taking pics of each individual cell so people can get a close - up.

I actually don't have the Fortune Hunter's Edition in the pic but I do have it, lol.

Thank you, Twisted. I'm going to try to get around to posting the pics this weekend as that will probably be the next available time I can do it. Hopefully give you guys a more updated look at what I have. I'm excited! :yahoo:

I'm hoping to do some cleaning and organizing this weekend. I also thought about taking requests for whatever Xbox 360 edition game the community mentions to see if I have it. I dunno if that sounds fun unless you want to start? :poke:

Just curious, do you have any information on the Halo 2 and Halo 3 statues? I've never seen those before! (I wasn't a collector when either of those came out). Would love to have some information so I can try and track 'em down for my collection! Thanks, and totally looking forward to seeing more of your great collection!

thank u for these updated pics!!!..I thoroughly enjoyed looking at them!!..do you have additional shelving units?..it looks like you are out of space..and where just barely scratching the surface of the PS4/XBOXONE generation..lol.u can only imagine whats in store for the immediate future when it comes to game collector editions :)

I do have other shelving units but it's minimal right now. I still need to buy more bookshelves for other various things. All my time has been taking up with building my mini-movie room, so that stalled the game room. My next post will show the little I have that is shelved, lol.

I still haven't moved to the PS4/Xbox One yet, the few that you see have been their PS3/Xbox 360 equivalent.

Thanks, I'm glad you appreciate them and the organization was done by my gf (she's more of the creative one, I would've just put them up there if I saw an empty space, lol) but I'm glad you notice.

The Halo 2 and 3 statues were done by Kotobukiya and they had made, I believe, red, blue, and steel versions as well. Figured you should know if you are a completionist. I was only curious with the green ones for obvious reasons.

Thank you, sir! Honestly, it just turned out that way due to the publishers adding statues to their editions and spawned a love/hate relationship with my wallet and space. It's also messed with my psyche due to the statues that Europeans get since I've been trying to keep myself to just NA releases.

Ha ha, seeing as you live far away, I guess I won't have to worry about you taking mine. Like I was saying to Dr_Jengo, I cannot fathom what my obsessive-compulsive behavior would do if I were in Europe.

I had a look at your collection and I like how you photograph them. I do need to get a few of the items that I have missed here in the states.

same here, I have dreams about lots of editions from USA, but import fee and shipping cost make it almost imposible, due to extremely high cost of money :(
and I don't have enough space for all statues, what I want :D, I move more to steelbooks then statues, but I have almost obsessive behavior when come to new CE with statue, I always have long fight with my will, NOT to buy asap, but I failed many times, witcher 4, Risen 3, AC5 guillotine ed etc, now i am thinking about far cry 4 kyran ubi collectibles with metal pack and season pass, but damned ,I am out of money :(

and I am talking only about PC editions, I don't even mention PSX/xbone exclusive ed :(

Yup, that is one of the signed Uncharted Fortune Hunters edition. The Warhammer CE was from an eBay bid from Sept. 24th 2012 for a charity group in Canada after Relic shut down.

I did get it from eBay but it was from 2012 like I stated to narg. I honestly can't recall if anyone else bid on it but if so, that was me, lol. This did make me laugh at the coincidence of us collectors meeting each other and not at me maniacally outbidding you. :hug:

Love the Zelda handheld consoles! I wasn't collecting much when the DS and 3DS came out so I never got those, but they're on my list! You've got an amazing collection!

Also, speaking of Zelda, did you know that they just released some Nintendo action figures (at Target and such) for ~$10 and there's a poseable Link?! Totally buying one this week! :D

No, I did not know that. I would add it but with all the other gaming related things I still have to set up, sadly, I probably would have no room for it. I will probably be adding another update here this week for my sealed JRPG games. Mind you, they are all going to be from the 7th generation consoles.

Lovely collection of Collector's Guidebooks!

I love this generation of CEs too, mainly for the Statues, Figures and the little trinkets that come with most of the CEs. I'm from Asia but mainly my CE collection are from NA and Europe.

Okay, here is a gaming update as I have been watching a lot of movies in my free time.

First off, we have the Skyrim V Shrine of Talos Exclusive Edition. My gf had decided on this version as she felt it appeared better than the original. I said, "Whatever" as all I do is just pay for it, no questions asked. It does pop rather nicely.

Fantastic update! I didn't even realize there were "other plushies" for Kinectimals. I've got the bear one that I picked up for ~$1 at ToysRUs I believe, but the others seem neat. How many were there in all?

Honestly, I don't know but they did announce at least 5 of them. I know there is more than that but the problem with tracking them down is I'm not sure if they are region specific. That's what's keeping me from collecting them. I also believe these three are the only ones that are packaged with the game, so at least my collector's OCD isn't getting the best of me. Nice grab on the price of the bear one, btw.

Doesn't it? I thought they looked like buddy buddies :beer:. Hell, I even thought to see if I could hang the ghost over one of the Chief's shoulder but the size difference would make it too ridiculous. I could see if I could purchase one of those 3 ft. tall promo statues from Halo 2 they sell on eBay and try there... Now there's a thought! Gf would probably be pissed since real estate is becoming an issue.

Just wanted to post an update. Not sure how much you guys care but hopefully ya'll like it. Been busy over the holidays as I'm sure most of ya'll are. It's been rather busy to be a gamer right now. Very crazy.

First off, I have a little design I cooked up myself. These are frames and weren't originally meant to be bookshelves. They contain the 1-10 SW: TFU collector cards. We'll see how they hold up. GF is the creative and organized one and she even liked this. Score one for me.

Dec./Jan. update. I'm sure there are other things I forget to share with you guys but I'm sure it isn't anything you haven't seen before. I've been busy working on the house and entertaining family for the holidays. I also had to remove and install two toilets. Some of you may say it's not a big deal but this was my first time and came to find out how shitty of a job the previous owners did. Yay! Anyways...

I know exactly how you feel. I want to get all the figures too but sadly too expensive for me. I definitely admire your dedication. I think I'm going to stop at getting both the Andrew Ryan and Sander Cohen statues if they come my way since I already am trying to get all the statues. I have to limit myself or I'll just go nuts since I'm not a specific collector. :surrender:

Sadly they are a MS exclusive dev for the most part. I do not see their games :( PS got CC but a couple years later and the other game they made I think will never come to PS.

I didn't know that. For some reason I thought BattleBlock Theater was on PSN as well.. I know Alien Hominid was on the GameCube and PS2, as well as Xbox Arcade but it would seem kind of ridiculous to not have them on PSN. Hmm.. now you're going to make me look it up.

I think people on PSN finally yelled enough about it and got CC on PSN, but only because I do not think it was an exclusive in contract. But the new game is I think (or at least timed for a few years).

It is too bad, especially considering PSN must now be the dominate platform for the new gen based on console sales (this is was caused a lot of exclusives to XBL last gen, they sold better there and MS has a bad policy that a game cannot release on PSN first and they have always been an exclusive grabber. Now Sony has started doing this out of spite).

I suppose it is the NECA model. Very nice having some more images out of the box.

They are doing a very fine job with all their figures and the details on the Queen are remarkable.

I look forward to their Ellen Ripley line coming in june.

Yeah, it's NECA. I absolutely love their craftsmanship. Not the best of quality in most of their stuff but I would never turn them down.

If you can see it, my gf has the older Alien Queen in the middle of all the mess and she wanted this NECA Anniversary Edition.

I did not know about the Ripley line in June. Exciting!

I think NECA does a very good balance in detail and price.

Comparing images of the Aliens Queen by Sideshow collectibles (16“) and NECA (15“), you will find areas the Sideshow model is not over-superior. In fact the paintjob by Sideshow is outstanding, but the price of 400 USD on release was also.

In june NECA will do Ellen Ripley 1979 in versions with jumpsuit/flamethrower and white spacesuit.

End 2015 they plan releasing Ellen Ripley 1986 fully armed for Newts rescue and a torn apart Bishop. So both perfect additions for your Queen.

And I agree about your comparison with Sideshow. There is a level of quality that each company is known for but at some point, the price and craftsmanship does plateau.

Hey everyone! It's been a while since I last updated and I'm sure you guys are just dying to see what I have been buying. /sarcasm

Some of you may know I have been going round and round with Digital River and Irrational Games and I believe it's finally coming to a close. They had updated me yesterday regarding my "signed" Elizabeth Noir statue. Apparently, they had boxing information mixed up so some of their "signed" statues and were labeled as such but were really the unsigned ones. They have told me they have now since fixed this. They upgraded me to two-day shipping, so I should expect to see my statue soon. I do appreciate their demeanor about this matter and at least making me feel important enough to correct the issue. The person I spoke to that called me sounded very pleasant and answered all questions that I had. A+ for her patience.

I have also been buying a lot more movies lately to fill out my Movie Room and have been busy playing Destiny. I don't hear a lot of Destiny talk around here but I've been getting pretty hooked. I have yet to enter a Raid but if anyone wants to join in, I'm currently on the X360 and will upgrade to the XO sometime before Christmas for probably when Halo comes out. GF loves Halo. I'm okay with collector sellers (those who sell to help their hobby and necessity) but not okay with scalpers for one reason only: there is no empathy among them. Thanks Knight! I will do that. There have been a couple of moments I almost pulled the trigger on the upgrade but decided against it as the better part of me thought responsibly. It's always the fact that I have to buy doubles for the SO that makes me want to keep money in my wallet. At least so I can buy the singles of things like statues, guides, etc. One day though, one day!

Hey, quick update. Just wanted to show something off that I purchased just very recently. Flatout is really going to appreciate this!

I bought the Darksiders II Death's Scythe from Triforce. This thing is a beast. You can Youtube it to see how people handle it to get an idea of the weight. I believe the IGN video of them unboxing it shows the best idea. I have also put in the pic the Darksiders II CE Death's Mask in the pic to give you a sense of scale if you have that.

This was a sort of impulse buy. As you guys are well aware retail for this thing goes for $900 and some places sell it on sale for about $500. I got this for well below both. Yeah, I've been telling my friends about it and been getting quite a few "That's what she said" replies, lol. At the price I bought it at and the fact that it was limited to 500, I could not pass it up. Another quick update. Took advantage of the Microsoft promo for their Xbox One.

Paid $399 plus tax for the 1TB Xbox One with MCC, free game and $50 giftcard.
GF did the same. We finally took the plunge.
There was also a promo for AC:Unity but the store I went to did not have any in stock. Debating whether it's worth hassling to make a "return" to add the copy.

August update. Not much due to having to prepare for September and October. Having to narrow down my collection as the current generation of games start taking hold as I promised myself I would only collect mainly for the 7th generation of games unless it's a particular series i.e. Halo.

Thanks, yeah, I thought about getting more but decided against it since I was thinking Bungie would restock them. One thing that does bother me that I missed out on were the pin sets they were selling a while back.

Oh well, my Destiny gaming is waning and I don't know if it'll keep my interest due to feeling exhausted with all the (not good) changes they have been making. I still enjoy the lore and frequent the subreddit. Their merchandise, I feel, is just right too. Not too much and not too little.

I've got several standees that I take home that I'll never get a chance to display just because of space. My absolute favorite standee is the Diablo III one. Loved the artwork and how it pops. And my favorite placard they've had is the Guild Wars 2. Amazing art!

Yeah, I like the AAA titles that keep their merchandise simple. Are you going to get the Titan figure? I wish I preordered the Hawkmoon variant.

The vigors were a birthday gift to myself. I feel as though they were the perfect balance of merchandise from a good IP. People do complain about the price but I do believe a lot of the comments come from people who don't collect and don't realize how expensive official, rarity and quality items can really affect the price and, of course, having the creator's signature.

The Metal Earth is not my forte so I'm going to leave it up to the SO to build these for me as she did the one that came with the Halo 5: Guardians CE. Here's hoping she can complete them all.

Thanks, yeah, the GF didn't like the paint job on them as it did look sloppy in some places but I feel that with them being resin and with my obsession of collecting things in a series, I find it worth it. I had obtained all of these below MSRP, so I agree with you, I wouldn't have bought them if I had to get them for regular price. Also, the fact that it was Halo was definitely the tipping point.

Got the Enslaved diorama to complete that statue collection to go along with my Monkey statue and to top the statue list off is my Nightingale Exclusive. I wasn't too impressed with the LEDs but the statue overall is amazing! To finish off this pic is my Uncharted PowerUp Rewards Exclusive because of 0329liuken. Couldn't have done it without him notifying me it was available, lol. Also great to collect more Pinnies for Uncharted too!

Edit: Just now realized I didn't give any love to mentioning The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD w/ Amiibo and Bravely Second: End Layer Collector's Edition.

Added the other Borderlands Gentleman Claptrap-in-a-box to give my original a buddy to hang out with. Another rare addition is this special Timbuk2 bag made for the first Mirror's Edge. Great bag with great quality!

Well, I guess all you would need to do then is to paint the walls and floors to look like the NES version of the games and you got yourself your very own version of TLoZ: KnightofTruth Edition. You'll just need to get your daughter to piggy back on you while wearing those angel (or white butterfly) wings they have them wear for halloween and have her constantly say, "Hey, listen!" If you do that, I'll skip work and make the trip your way!

Thanks for the kind words. Sometimes I wonder if people actually enjoy looking at my collection as the only time I know is if you guys respond. I know there are a handful of regulars here that will, like yourself and 0329liuken. Actually part of the reason why I chose to do the updates every 2 months as I don't want to seem like I'm spamming my thread. Enough of my soapbox now.

I first got wind of that 3D printing from your submission. I couldn't justify it either as I haven't played a lick of the multiplayer. After my gf and I played the campaign, we ran back off to Destiny and The Taken King. We have since stopped both. Funny now, since I'm playing Assassin's Creed Rogue on my 360 and the gf playing The Witcher in her spare time on the PC.

Well, I hope the move is somewhat stress-free as I know us collectors accumulate a lot of boxes for our collections. I dread the day I'm going to have to move. Either way, hope to see you doing what Vhal did and keep us updated on maybe seeing a dedicated collector room. :poke:

It's time for my bi-monthly update for you guys! This is the May/June update and, boy, has time flown.

Ignore the original date as this was originally a duplicate but I could not for the life of me figure out how to delete posts. I tried reporting it but as you can see it is still here. :scratch:

Either way, this is going to be my update post now.

Without further ado, here is my attempt at following Liuken in trying at an Uncharted collection. Not as impressive (and never will be) but I'm happy. I finally got all three Pop! "Fucko" figures as Target canceled my order with them so I had to find other means of obtaining.

Here, we have my Bioshock update. Another collection I'm attempting to complete. Very excited about my Andrew Ryan statue and my first of, so far, two Big Daddy statues. Can't wait for the GH's version as well.

How's the quality of the Big Daddy statue?

Personal opinion, get it if you're trying to collect specifically for Bioshock. It is pretty massive, but not God of War massive that Flatout reviewed; probably more Lord of Cinder territory. Quality is really good.

To start, the box is pretty big and there is nothing separating the statue box and the shipping box except for a sheet of cardboard on top for what I assume is so you don't cut into the actual box when you cut the tape. So, expect to see box damage. Inside is nothing but Styrofoam. Lots of it. There are two sections, top for the accessories and the little sisters and the bottom for the base and Big Daddy.

Mine did arrive with some damage. One of the Big Daddy's boot buckle broke and one of the wing nuts by his head broke. Now, I don't know if it was due to shipping or when we took it out but I will say that we were careful in handling the pieces. I do want to reserve judgement until GH releases theirs and compare it but right now, I would buy it in a heartbeat. I've enjoyed all of Irrational's past statues and they did not compromise on this.

Great Update! Love the BioShock figures especially. And I've got the same question as xHunter, I'm still not sure if I really should buy that figure for that much, hah.

If you want, I can post different angle shots and close-ups if my brief review above is not satisfactory.

Yeah, I agree. Part of the reason why I love the WETA statues. They know how to add more than just the protagonist and create such detailed work and creativity.

I have seen pictures and I know they did an eBay auction of the Silver version but for the life of me, I can't find anyone who has the MC and Grunt statue that WETA possibly made. Hopefully, I can find some information on it one day.

Ha ha, yeah, I remember first introducing myself and it had been mentioned. I actually did for a short period here recently work for them but as a seasonal to help out a friend. My friend actually manages a Gamestop and has been for quite a while. Of course during my period of collecting any variant edition during the 7th generation, I got to know the guys that worked at this particular store. So, long story short, the place was up for a remodel and corporate decided they didn't want their stores having the Gamestop logo behind their cash wrap. Why, you ask? From what I gathered is it was great real estate to advertise upcoming games and they felt like it was wasting space. Anyway, me, being one of the most valuable customers at this store and being good friends with the crew, got offered if I wanted to take this home. I couldn't decline as I knew not that many people had one of these. I've always wanted one of those 'World of Nintendo' or 'Playstation' signs but I figured since I bought over 90% of my games from Gamestop, I could just lump them all under the sign as it was more encompassing rather than segregating with the individual brands. Seemed like a win-win. Every now and again, as you can see from some of my updates, I would also receive some of the promotional items the manager didn't want or knew I cared about certain IPs.

First one has the newly released Pillar of Autumn statue by Dark Horse released recently along with the Unravel Yarney figure. I'm sure glad they allowed more than just press getting their hands on these.

Only 300 of these made and as my gf would say, "The adorable cuteness is too much!" I just say it's awesome but we both mean the same thing.

Thank you. You won't believe me but I paid a total of $70 for him. The only thing missing is the validation card. The previous owner stated he could not find it. For that price, I told myself I could forgo this exception. Asked him to PM me if he ever found the card. So, in this case, the "ridiculousness" is in the other direction.

I figured if I was wrong, I would be disappointed but wouldn't be anything that I couldn't recover from.

Lol, I could ask him. I believe I asked him to keep in touch with me if he decided to sell any game statues and he stated he would. I haven't seen anything yet. I will let you know but the chances are slim and even slimmer if he would sell for $100, lol. You might have to settle with $150.

Yeah, I was trying to do the same thing when those MM CE's first came out --figured with eBay flooded with them someone might let a F4F one slip through the cracks. Ended up getting one for ~$700 and thought it was a good deal. YOU sir win deal of the year though! And yeah - I might be even willing to go up to :gasp: $200! (Seriously though, anything under $700 and I'm sold!). :notworthy:

Oh, space is a problem. I'm slowly winding down on everything I want as they are either getting more specific or I convince myself I don't want/need it. I've had that talk with the gf about moving the collection into one of the bigger rooms as the one it's in right now was made for a nursery and I did not project the collection to get this big.

Happy New Year's, everyone!

Another year has gone by and it seems it's been good to us collectors. I hope everyone got what they wanted for Christmas and I wish the best of luck for everyone's 2017 resolutions!

And, as always, here is my bi-monthly update for November/December.

First off, we have some of the Pop! figures by Funko for the Assassin's Creed series. Sometimes, I wonder why I still collect for that IP. My second game for the PS4 that I absolutely adore is The Last Guardian Collector's Edition. Not the best statue but my GF and I love it. Decided to get the bionic arm from Metal Gear Solid V, both the 1:1 and 1:2 scale versions. It's going to look great next to the Revengeance plasma lamp. Since there was only the one release of the Halo ship replica, I decided to post the Phaeton Ship by itself this time. If you are really curious, you could always scroll back and look at the other version replicas in previous updates. And finally, I have the Art of Uncharted 4 LE and the NECA Uncharted 4 figure. Pretty damn good compared to the Sideshow version of the figure, especially for the price difference.

Kinda hard to see, but I also bought the Last of Us pins to complete my esctoy collection. The new ones are the two on the left on the top row. And the blurry Uncharted 4 pin of Nathan Drake down there is also new from the Playstation store.

Next, we have the Borderlands update. Their website had a sale and I went ahead and took advantage of it. Wouldn't have bought this stuff otherwise but this seemed too good to pass up. Some of these, obviously, were not from the website but once I bought from their webstore, I decided I wanted to get some of the other items. Shout out to the Jakobs diary notebook. Great quality for what seems like real leather. Was super stoked to see that.

Now we have my Diablo binge. Their webstore also had a sale and I was eyeing their Diablo 3 Chess Set. This set is massive and the quality is impeccable. Now, I just need to see the Reaper of Souls Mahjong Set and I'll be complete.

Here are the rest of my Diablo binge buying. Special mention to the Nightmare Diablo Cute but Deadly ComicCon edition on the far left and completing the Heroes of the Storm Mystery Minis up top. GF loved the Dead Treasure Troll Plush.

This one deserved its own picture. This is the Artist's Proof of the Diablo 3 Sideshow statue. She is amazing. This has created my want for both the regular and Nightmare editions but will have to wait for either pricing or savings. This will do for now.

And, lastly, we have another collectible set from the X360/PS3 era. What started with Star Wars: The Force Unleashed card set has now expanded to the Perfect Dark Zero Holographic Glyph cards and the Madden 12 signed Marshall Faulk Panini cards. If you will notice, there were only 9 Glyph cards for Perfect Dark Zero and that is because (very hard to tell from the photo) #6 had two different picture versions. That was the only time I have seen that happen. I don't know if that was intended or if the holographic pictures are random but if that were the case, I never ran into any of the other numbers doing that. Also, you will notice, I do not have the gold version for Marshall Faulk as there were only 2 in existence, 1 for each platform, PS3 and X360. If you guys know of any other 7th generation game that did this, please let me know. Would love to hear them.

It was from their Blizzard store. It went on sale at some point after Black Friday/Cyber Monday here in the states. I initially had no intentions of owning it as I'm not a big fan of unpainted sculptures but the price was too low to pass up and I have been eyeing the normal statue for quite a while so I figured this was a decent placeholder. I will say because it's unpainted, if you get it under the right light conditions, the shadows make the statue look amazing. They seem to pop really well as there isn't any color to distract from it.

Time for the bi-monthly update and first of the year from me for you guys! Hope you enjoy.

First, we have a little conglomeration of non-themed item acquisitions. From left to right and back to front, I purchased the Far Cry 4 Strategy Guide as I am still completing my CE guides of the 7th generation. Next is the No Man's Sky Explorer's Edition with the die-cast ship, pin, space pen and journal. Over to the right is The Legend of Zelda: Art & Artifacts LE book. And in the front we have a little Pop! Borderland's Cl4p-Tp and Half-Life Gravity Gun keychains. Last but not least is the little Chibiterasu statue from Loot Crate.

Next, we have a little continuation from the Diablo line. From left to right we have a little Cute but Deadly series 2 Barbarian figure. To another series I am collecting for, we have the Bioshock series. I have been able to acquire some rare gems here thanks in part to 0329liuken. The new Big Daddy plush is shown here on the far left along with the huge Bioshock Infinite promotional blimp in the back. The Mind in Revolt and Breaking the Mold Developer's Edition books are on the left-bottom and middle. I had to re-buy the shot glasses as the first set I received were damaged in shipping. I figured I would use the remaining ones that were not broken and keep these in the packaging. The biggest acquires, from 0329liuken, are the Bioshock Infinite and Bioshock: The Collection Press Kits. Very happy to have gotten these. Thanks again, Ken.

First off we have all of McFarlane's Halo 3 Legendary statues and their variants for both the Arbiter and Master Chief and Flood. Also to follow up McFarlane's statues is his Halo 3 Helmet Collection. I think I am missing two more from wave 2 but I'm not exactly sure. There have been so many that look like duplicates with different colors - honestly, it's hard to keep up. The only one I have that is not listed on the back is the bottom-right red set. Don't know what that one belongs to. Hopefully, I will have the rest of them prior to my next update.

And, as always, statues are usually the pinnacle of most people's collections. I have completed my Dead Space statue collection (or until someone decides to take up the franchise) with both the Sideshow Isaac Clarke's Dead Space and Kotobukiya's Isaac Clarke Dead Space 3. Right in the middle is the Gaming Head's Shrine of Julianos Exclusive from their Skyrim line. I am very impressed with all three statues and am very pleased to have them.

Yeah, I usually don't go for bronzed versions of statues but I took an exception to the shrines. It is a hard decision but I will say the bronze does pop well under the camera flash. :thumb:

It looks like I'm starting to slow down on my collecting. I think I might try to do this every quarter now and see how that goes. And as always, I hope you guys enjoy the collection!

Here in the states, I bought them at a retail store, Best Buy. I don't know if there is any sort of exclusivity but I didn't see them sold anywhere else. I also got lucky in getting them at a greatly reduced price.

Hello Everyone,

Hope you're having a good holiday with family and friends!

I'm actually surprised I'm still collecting as I have been slowing down immensely and after having such a roller coaster of a year. We had lost a family member that has been near and dear to my heart. My pup was taken by cancer. She has been by my side for the past 13.5 years and it's crazy to think how much I have experienced with her in that time - from my college days to my settled life now. I hope I gave her the best life she could ever ask for. Not wanting to leave a hole in my heart, we had actually added more furry members to our family in the hopes that we can carry the love that we received from our first girl's passing.

I have a saying that I tell myself whenever I think of her and that's "I hope you have the sun on your back, grass on your paws and the wind on your face wherever you go." She will be missed.

Now, after a moment of gathering myself, I wanted to give you guys an end of year update. I promised I would show you some of my non-gaming related additions (as I'm sure you guys care about this /s) but I am proud of them nonetheless.

To start, we have some of the Frank Kozik's Marvel and DC Labbit series that I keep around as my computer buddies. These are the 7" figures that were made from the mini blind boxes.

Speaking of blind boxes, I've been helping my SO collect the Horror mini blind boxes, which I believe have 3 series so far. These are in no discernable order but Series 1 and Series 2 are being held inside the shadowbox.

Okay, now for what this website is made for. First off, we have additions to lines I have been already collecting for - another Zelda console (this time for the 2DS), The Bioshock Collection 10th Anniversary Edition with statue (I haven't opened this yet and debating on whether or not I should as I don't really have the room to display it.), and two more Dark Horse ship replicas of the Vulture in original and Red Variant.

And as always, I love to end the update on statues, so here are three of my favorite gaming licenses that have been added to my collection - The Clicker Exclusive Edition, Uncharted 4's Nathan Drake and Shoreline Soldier, and Halo: Forward Unto Dawn's McFarlane's Master Chief vs. Hunter. This just about completes my Halo statues. There are a few bust and helmet statues that I considered getting but if they come at the right price, otherwise, I'm okay with calling this complete. One of these days I'll set up an album or post for just the Halo statues.

Hey Everyone! Doing my update here.

If it hasn't been obvious, I've been collecting less and less but I'm still in the 'game', so to speak. I've still been playing games but not as often as I would like. For those of you who still have me on your friend's list may notice my games have been sporadic.

Funny enough, the games I do buy are for a system I don't even play. I plan to get a PS4 Pro. I just haven't found the allocation of funds for it yet, ha.

Apparently, I still collect for Destiny. I don't know why but I like that damn ghost design. I know a lot of people complained about the Alexa-enabled one. I definitely paid way too much for it (retail) but you live and you learn. Along with those vinyls, I have the Loot Crate Bioshock Big Daddy and the Halo Icons Sgt. Johnson and Guilty Spark. I probably should've taken him out of the package the more I'm looking at this picture but oh well. :shrug:

Damn Flatout convinced me on two occasions and they're both Darksiders. I bought the Triforce's Death and Dust statue. Mine was shipped broken at the knee and I was able to fix the statue and recoup some of the cost. I had heard Flatout was able to get a refund on his as well. The other item below is the Press Kit version of Death's Mask that was made out of what appears to be some kind of resin along with the Collector's Edition for comparison. I think 75% of my Darksiders collection is because of him. I guess I can't complain, I do enjoy their merch. (I haven't even played the games)

Hope you do at some point... the lore and world are so awesome IMO (love 1... War is the man :D ). Really looking forward to Darksiders 3!

Well...… I was going to wait for the Shadow of the Colossus Gaius statue before posting my update but it seems that GameStop has other ideas on when they want to release this. I was so stoked to be getting this statue back when it was originally announced for the May/June timeframe that I honestly thought that there would've been follow up on more statues by this point since it showed the statue sold out (it seems now it keeps going in and out of availability), which makes me question the release of more of these. There aren't too many franchise IPs that I am buying for nowadays and that list is starting to get smaller and smaller. Oh well, helps keep more money in my account. Well, it's now been allocated to a new truck that I just bought, so I may be buying less and less for my collection as I have truck payments and I want so much to mod on my truck. It's endless, I tell ya!

Anyways, for the first thing I want to show is a Claptrap figure with accessories (which I believe is made by McFarlane, not sure) and the Pop! Figures for Ni No Kuni II.

We have here an item that I've been waiting so long ever since I heard about it near its release. This is the Limited Helghast Edition for Killzone 3. I did have the regular collector's edition but knew I wanted this since it was released in the U.S.

There was a little sale on the 2K website that I've been waiting for the necklaces to be included as I thought the $100 price tag was a little expensive for each. Mind you, I think they are worth it based on the franchise, material, and detail alone but as we all know, us collectors have to be as cheap as possible.

I decided to purchase the overseas Shadow of the Colossus 1st Colossi statue/figure in lieu of not having the Gaius statue. At least I tell myself that as I figure I would've purchased it anyways, just not this soon. I placed the Grande Coin statue/figure and the Kotobukiya statue to the right and left, respectively, to give you an idea of scale and detail.

Yeah, I really liked the look of the light on when I saw your unboxing. I usually put in the batteries to make sure the lights work and take them out when I'm displaying my statues. I worry about battery leakage.

I have yet to have a bad experience with sellers on the forums and on eBay, that could not be resolved, but you sir, have got to be the most childish person I have come across. If I were to make a suggestion, I would impose anyone here to not deal with this seller if you value your satisfaction when things go wrong. You come here and make a half-lazy attempt at an introduction and use it to market yourself to sell your collection. You do not get to tarnish my reputation here when you have not contributed to this community.

I DID consider trying to work with you, even after the fact, since the box is still wrapped up for shipping but after all of your incessant insults and irreparable behavior, I have considered to charge a price for each abusive word. I think we are about even.

Well, I do understand why he felt double-crossed, although I also understand your side as well. I don't understand why did you ask eBay to resolve the situation within the case? That's like asking them to decide who's wrong and who's right. Also, I don't know if it's eBay or PayPal, but returns/claim windows has been raised from 90 days to 6 months.

I got no response from you. I even submitted the 10$ in the case but got no confirmation this was good for you or if there was something else you would prefeer. I wish you would have messaged me! did you even ask me if i would be comfortable fronting the rest to fully refund your shipping cost and you keep the statue?

i needed communication but you went completely dark, and partially from my anger i understand, but even still before, as i was trying to work with canada post, there was ZERO communication after you opened up a case.

As well, the middle man problem, was ebay and paypal, because that case got opened, that threw any kind of problem solving out the window and they went with their default bullcrap of screwing the seller over. i was trying to help, the ebay rep told me one thing, that they were going to handle shipping, i waited and waited, then they favored you and closed the case, when i called ebay this afternoon i was now told a completely different story from them. After reading through the timeline and screenshots posted by g6t9ed, these are my observations:
-You made incorrect and manipulative statements about Canada Post insurance and the postal worker strike.
-You tried to get him to mail the item back outside of the ebay return system so that you could "inspect it" then issue the refund (scam attempt??).
-g6t9ed acted reasonably and courteous throughout, while you were condescending, mean, and frankly, racist.
-You cannot spell and struggle to put together a coherent sentence. You seem really stupid and this affects your credibility.

As someone who has had so many bad experiences with ebay buyers, I am generally sympathetic to the seller. You said the strike was nationwide. It was always rotating. And you said that they denied your insurance claim because it happened during the strike so it's not valid? That is hard to believe.

He messaged you first and asked you what you think would be a good way to resolve the issue. He also expressed that he wanted to keep the statue. This is a good faith move by him, because he is allowing you a chance to resolve the issue instead of subjecting you to an ebay dispute. Your idea was to claim with Canada Post and wait for them to reply, which takes time, then offer him a $10 refund. And you were caught off-guard when he opened a claim?

If it was insured Canada post should give you more than 10$. How does the strikes has to do anything with that? I don't know who told you that but it seems wrong. You should complain to canada post and ask for more. Insurance is insurance.

Also, if you sell something on ebay and the buyer receives something broken, it is your responsability to send a refund regardless of what the post says.

It is not the buyer's fault if you can't get your money back. You should have accepted the return, or sent a partial refund and then ask canada post to refund you.

I've never had to deal with a return but, I doubt ebay will pay for shipping. They are not amazon after all.

You should really call ebay and ask what is going on. My thought is, you will have to pay for the shipping.

Been debating with myself whether it's worth continuing to keep updating here after the fiasco that left a sour taste. I know everyone has their opinion on how they would've handled the situation but from the information I had and the situation I was in, I did not want to take any chances. Mind you, the way I handled this situation was also after being scammed myself multiple times in past instances. I try to handle the loss with grace and move on. No one hears about it and I don't whine about it. I've come to the conclusion that if what I did does not suit you, then you are more than welcome to your own devices and ignore me. At the end of the day, I'm just here to converse and show off my collection.

I mean what's the point of doing it all if no one cares, right? Next, I have a couple miscellaneous items I received through the holidays as gifts. You can't look a gift horse in the mouth and I'll take any little trinket I can get that relates to my collection! We have a little retro arcade that fully functional at playing Galaga and Pac-Man. A company called Totaku released a Master Chief at GameStop and my GameStop Manager friend gave me this little pin that he was given. Kind of a cool little trinket and bag.

Now for the statues. First off, we have the Diamond Edition for the Borderlands Butt Stallion that the aforementioned controversy was about. And next to that is a comparison to the regular version that's no so glamorous but just as special, lol.

Now, I'm curious to know, because I didn't see Liuken show this one off. I want to know if he has this statue? Apparently, some company named Gaya Entertainment made this Nathan Drake statue and was only released in Europe. I was able to get a decent deal on this one as most were selling above $100 for it. I would not suggest buying this if it's that much as the quality of the statue veers toward a statue you would receive packed in with a game since it appears to be made of PVC. Take that info for what it's worth. The face looks a little off and some of the paint doesn't look like it blends well but other than that, it's not a bad statue. Just not more than $50 worth.

And lastly, in trying to keep up with all the statues for the Bioshock line, GamingHeads released both the Rosie Big Daddy and Elizabeth statues. I bought the Exclusive versions of both and confirmed Rosie's head lights up and Elizabeth's base does too. I tell you what, Rosie's head was interesting to figure out as there was a "hidden" button to activate and color change.

Do you remember if you got two tracking numbers or just one ? And also, if your full address was written on both boxes.

Are these the actual weight and dimensions of one of the box ? or is it the total shipment (both boxes combined) that weighs 15 kg ?

Bad news, it appears that the dimension/weight listed is only for the Rosie statue box and does not include the base box.

I had hoped to provide a bigger update as it had been a while since I've posted anything but home repairs got in the way. I was only able to capture my Halo and Diablo updates.

Most of these have repeat items as I love showing collections of the items in one big photo. Hopefully, you all don't mind either.

For the first image, I'll kick things off with the Halo Legendary Lootcrate Screen Shot Icon Figures for all three series. As far as I know, I should have them all with the two variants of the Merciless Atriox and the Spartan-IV B&W. I have series 1 on the bottom two rows, series 2 in the middle two, and series 3 on the top row. You can also tell them apart by their bases.

Moving over to the Diablo updates, we first have a few items I purchased from the Blizzard store. These are the non-slip coasters and metal magnet set.

Here are the two officially released PVC statues. The female Crusader statue on the left and Malthael statue on the right. For PVC, these were made pretty well. I did not see much in the way of imperfections that you usually find in PVC molds.

I also added another little card set that will be added to my Diablo III poker card set.

I was super stoked every time I added one of Blizzard's Diablo themed parlor game sets. So, along with my previous poker set and chess set, I finally nabbed myself this rare Reaper of Souls expansion mahjong set. Here you can see it compared in size to the poker set since I had that one out anyways.

When opened up, the inside lid shows a nice little mural with all the heroes and a packaged cloth map.

Once the cloth map was removed, you can see the glorious tiles, tiny replica worldstone with a dice contained within it and the packaged chips. It is hard to see but there are two layers of these tiles sectioned off in four. This set was very well made just like the chess set.

And, last but not least, I was able to finally complete my Diablo III Sideshow statue with all three variants. Only the regular and Nightmare editions have light up functions, where the Artist's Proof does not. Nor does the AP have the cloth hangings on the skulled spears.

Like I said, I had more to show for an update but this was all I could do in the meantime as I had other house matters to attend to. Hopefully, once that settles and I can get some stuff in order, I'll come back with the second (possibly 3rd) update. Depending on how many photos I'll have to take. Yeah, it's a love/hate for me as I can see the reason why they went that direction. It was also the reason why I never purchased them when they first released. Diablo's just been a game that you could pick up and put down whenever you wanted, so it's that game series that's stuck with me since the first one.

Are you gonna play the 4th one? What do you think of the trailer?

I just hope it’ll be more like the Diablo 3 released on consoles - I still remember playing it day 1 on PC, and the shit I needed to went through because the game was so unbalanced. Some parts were extremely hard and those elite enemies were impossible to beat most of the time... it just didn’t free like a Diablo game... I dropped it right after I defeated Diablo, but the console version was a whole different experience, it was much more like the Diablo 2 I enjoyed.

Ha, yeah, the first trailer (per usual Blizzard fashion) was the cinematic. They did release a small quick framed gameplay trailer. I'm gonna reserve my judgement until release, but I agree, I hope it is more balanced. I remember the first few day connection fiasco and that god awful balancing for 3. Once they fixed it on PC, it was pretty enjoyable.

Nothing will beat Diablo 2.

It made sense for the story with Diablo being in a female vessel... but that said I totally know what you mean and felt the same way about it.

Agreed. The consoles got lucky and got the good version after the PC people beta tested it (basically what happened).

Another update to the usual suspects, but first, something I haven't done in a while - buy a new collector's edition. Haven't bought one of these since, I think, Red Dead Redemption 2. I could be wrong. Either way, here's my Xbox One copy of Kingdoms of Amalur Re-reckoning CE. I'm not going to waste too much time and photos on this one since there are better photos by others you can find, lol.

Here we have another Ballistic Publishing collector's limited folio edition for the God of War III. I managed to snag this at a nice price. I was very excited to open this one!

Now moving on to the expected IPs. You guys may be bored at this point of seeing more of my Diablo :twisted: and Halo O:) items. :boredo:

Not wasting too good of a photo as you guys can look these up on Blizzard's website but I purchased a simple matte copy of all of the Diablo art prints.

Next, we have the Diablo IV Classes Collector's Edition Pin, Black/Red Diablo Drawstring Backpack, and the Diablo Lord of Terror 10'' Bust. I have to say I wasn't expecting much out of the bust but it is solidly made. If you are considering it, I say go for it. Especially, with all of the constant sales they have going.

And, the last Diablo item we have is the Diablo Lilith 24.5" Premium Statue. This thing is a beast! I could not ask for a better statue of Lilith in all of her glory, lol.

Moving over to Halo, we have on the left the Halo Infinite Dark Horse rendition of the Master Chief PVC 8" statue that was at one point bundled with the game preordered but was eventually sold separately. On the right we have the Master Chief phone/controller holder. This guy is heftier than I expected so I felt that I decently got my money's worth but I would only suggest this one if you're a huge Halo fan. His proportions look a little bit awkward but it's serviceable. It looks like this was made by some Japanese company called Cable Guys and they make several IP characters in this similar stance.

Next, we have the Dark Horse 18" UNSC Infinity Ship right behind the regular 9" version to give you an idea of the difference. I didn't realize how much more detail the 18" version had (which I knew it was expected but not to this level) as you can see.

The biggest Halo addition is the One2one Master Chief 1:2 scale bust. They say it's 1:2 but I don't see it. Either way, the statue seems to be well made and balanced quite well so I can't complain. No plans to get the other variants as I never really cared for them.

And that is all that..... wait, did you think we were done? This is nothing too note-worthy but just by the sheer size of him and the fact that I've been collecting for the Bioshock franchise, I had to show you guys the GamingHeads Big Daddy Bouncer statue that is a faithful recreation of the iconic character. I really need to find some way to show all of the Big Daddies together but I don't think my table will be able to support and or have the surface area to show you guys in one photo, lol.

I wouldn't say there is space to be found. I have a room dedicated to these items, but I can admit, I've gone overboard. I have dabbled in the idea of selling some of the minor statues that I don't fully collect for to free up some space. I don't know; I'm not much of a seller.

I've been meaning to ask you - where do you put your things? Maybe it'll give me a better idea of how I can free up some real estate.

I've thought about the garage. Obviously, you probably have them packed up in boxes but you don't worry about this Texas heat causing some kind of damage to the plastic and resin items? That was my main concern and another reason why I didn't decide on the attic either. At least in the dedicated room, they're in a temp controlled environment. Although, I do have an upstairs balcony door in that room and when it rained hard, my unopened Uncharted PS4 box got water damage on it. I was pissed. :banghead:

So, I'm going to start off by saying I spent more than I intended as it started off with this little "gem":

To make a long story short, I wanted to play some old school Fire Emblem and knew I had bought this one at a GameStop when they were first selling retros. I didn't know my ass from my elbow at that time with anything dealing with handhelds to tell what was a knock-off. My suspicions were confirmed when I first booted it up and realized my saves were gone as I knew how bootlegs had horrible battery life, killing your saves due to how less efficient the integrated chips were (don't quote me on that but that's what I remembered). Anyways, it was doubly confirmed when I started to look up genuine versions, lol. Anyways, it started this tirade of online searching for all of the Fire Emblems. Thus, the following image of the rest of the missing Fire Emblems I didn't have.

So, two things you'll notice. 1) Not all of them are included. That's because I didn't want to go rummaging around to find Fates, Shadows of Valentia, Path of Radiance, and Radiant Dawn. I think I have them listed somewhere in my thread. And 2) You can see two copies of The Sacred Stones. That was because I didn't realize the first copy I bought had a small tear in the box on the back, so I decided to buy another copy for posterity's sake.

Going down the FE list, at some point it brought around to a memory of purchasing Radiant Historia around the same time and that was when I realized they made a second one. I had no idea, so I snatched that one up as quickly as I could.

Keeping things somewhat Nintendo, I decided to purchase the Zelda Joy-Con's. I never realized how tiny the controllers were until I opened this box. I gotta say, I really like the presentation they put into this.

So, after seeing liuken's update, it got me wanting the Mamegyorai Last of Us. The quality of the statue and the familiar pose of Joel and Ellie really drew me. Maybe, someday I'll take them out of the packaging but these are how they're going to sit for now.

Moving things along, I had been putting off buying the Ultimate Edition of Halo Wars 2. I knew it wasn't really anything special as opposed to the regular edition but since it was Halo related, I thought I should. Also, along with that I bought the Master Chief and Cortana 1 oz. pure silver coins limited to 2,000 each. Would be really nice if I could get my hands on the dang console and controller.

And ending on a little statue this time is the Diablo Treasure Goblin that I believe were given to the Blizzard staff. Finally found one at the right price without any damage and included all of the shipping material. Nice, hefty little statue. I'm digging it and, so far is my next to last statue I need to complete my Diablo statue collection.
