I'd be less hesitant if it's not lead by Erick Scarecrow whose previously work on Uncharted's Drake figures with his "only limited to x in the world" scheme about 20 times.

Overall, the quality is a pass but my main concern would be the head that should cover the neck base (piggy). also without blood splatter the figures seems to be out of place.

But this is prototype so they maybe fixed this in the final product. "IF" it's actually funded.

I enjoy Hotline Miami a lot, but I didn't really feel any reason to buy it during the Kickstarter. I questioned ESC if they'll continue selling it post kickstarter to which they responded that they will be. While I would have liked the pins, I'd rather wait to see how the figure comes out and how good of quality it is before dropping almost $100 on it.

Yeah, if you're not interested in the KS exclusives then there really wasn't much there to entice people into shelling out dough this early on. Even those pins will be available down the road as well.

Hotline Miami is like...uhh...okay, imagine if you made a game with the creative minds behind The Last of Us and Zelda. Then take away their entire budget for the project, followed by replacing everyone with crazy people...you get Hotline Miami.
