Here's an update from Capcom to give us hope:

Pretty nice package, huh? We worked hard to get as much cool stuff and still keep it at the fair price or $59.99. You can pre-order this Collector's Edition at GameStop right now. As a matter of fact, you should pre-order it because our quanities are limited! Note: only available in North America.

EDIT: Right now only the GameStop page is up, but we'll have more info on other online retailers pretty soon. Stay tuned.

So I was able to talk to my double agent planted at Capcom and he confirmed that more copies of the game will become available within the week among all major retailers (Amazon, yay). They are also aware that people haven't been able to preorder in store (GS) which will be resolved once preorders are reopened. Simply put, this is not an online exclusive item that some people were led to believe.

Capcom and "limited"...I believe that's an oxymoron. :taunt:

There was a felyne pin included from the beginning, but as a preorder bonus they have included another felyne pin with different design which is available from gamestop and amazon

I'm quite puzzled by this as well.

It seems as though it's for people with multiple versions of the statue, to put them in various positions on the pink base, and then you can connect to to make it seem more interactive?

(If I remember right, the Japanese release of the CE had a black gore magala while ours is clear)

I saw the MH4U CE and Gamestop when I went to pre order Code Name STEAM for the pin, it is smaller than I thought it would be.

All mt stuff shipped from Amazon and should be here Sunday.
Both of my Zelda MM CE and MH4U CE and Mega Man. They said both the LoZ would be in the same box and that makes me nervous.
Gonna keep one an flip the other.

Yeah, I got mine and the MM LE yesterday. It is pretty tiny. Thought for sure it'd be a bit bigger. I like the metal magnet clasp on the front of the chest though -- probably the only part of the CE I like so far. The pins are neat, but now I'll probably feel like I need to get the other 8/10 or how many ever there are.

Looking forward to trying out this game though, never played a MH before.

My majoras mask limited edition shipped completely destroyed. The outer box is flimsy and it didnt make it. its torn to hell and dented to shit. Extremely pissed. Gamestop is trying to get me another one for a 1 to 1 trade. Damn it
