hardened/limited edn = game + season pass + steelbook + small collector thingies
prestige/ghost edn = hardened + a large replica of something

i think, this isn't going to be very limited, just like a certain triple A IP.... expecting a major price drop stock clearance 1 year later....

if only they made prestige edition for Portal 2 with a talking Wheatley.....

Yeah, I'm a pretty big fan of Bungie myself, but I'm a little disappointed in their treatment of their XBOX fan community. I understand this is their first real foray into the Sony realm, but they didn't have to shun their XBOX fans that way. They could've just done the same thing for both communities. Sony people would be happy they're finally getting some Bungie-love, and XBOX fans wouldn't have any reason to complain. Oh well, that's the industry I guess.

well, technically, the game is developed by bungie, but how it is marketed is dependent on the publisher.

Almost similar but you can play the first 4 story quest now. Starts at level 0 and watch the cinematics and such.

More missions (and bosses), more upgrades for your powers. Also one more Crucible mode (muliplayer). Also there is more options in weapons, armor, challenges, ect. Basically a little more of everything.

Plays more like Halo as I am sure you can imagine. But with loot like Boderlands... but much less of it as far as drops but much more different types of items since BL only has guns and Destiny has all the different armor pieces too.

You'll like it. To be hones Halo and BL as far as shooting mechanics go are very similar. Really the FPS model at its core cannot differ all the much anyways.

I know I really am loving it... the BETA is down today and yesterday though, they gearing up and doing maintenance for the Xbox crowd to join in tomorrow.
