Hello everyone, Googlie here from New York, USA, this is my grammar error filled, and disorganized introduction! :wave:

I found this site sometime earlier this year and it had been a boon to my collecting abilities. Thanks to you all I find out about all the awesome CE's before they sell out, so the days of crying internally when I find an Amazon or Gamestop page with the buying button grayed out are long gone. But I must say you guys have replaced that with envy with all the posting of your awesome collections!

I have been collecting for a little while now, unfortunately I had no idea what I was doing in the beginning, and some of them are in less then perfect condition, so feel free to call me a dumbass, frequently and with fervor, its okay I deserve it.

I hope to add my meager collection to the ranks soon, I just have to finally get my act together and photograph them. On that note, do you guys prefer them photographed in group, with a bunch in one pic, or is it okay to post each as a separate picture?

Hey guys Just photographed a large chunk of my collection. Hopefully i am doing this right. These are in no particular order, just whatever I happened to grab first.

As for my favorite series it would have to be a toss up between the Bioshock series, and Fallout. I usually tend to gravitate back to either when I am bored. Also I am more of a Sony guy when it comes to console CEs but will buy PC and Xbox exclusives if they interest me enough.

As for what system I play I do PC and PlayStation evenly, but depending on my laziness at the time Ill pick up my Vita or 3DS as well.

Hopefull we will see your pictures soon. You can photograph your CEs how you want to do it. Most of us use one picture for one CE/Merchandise/whatever.

Hey Googlie! Welcome to the fourm! :welcome:

We're glad to have you here! I think we've all felt that way at one point or another (some of us probably still do!), but there's not necessarily a right or wrong way to collect - just do what you want to do and enjoy the journey! Oh yeah, and be sure to share pics too!

As far as taking pictures of one thing or everything - why not both? You can edit your first post with an "overall picture" and then include separate ones down the road. I personally like to show separate finds cuz I can tell little stories about them if applicable (though I haven't done much of that on this site here yet, but I WILL).

Also, do you have any favorite series? What platforms do you collector for?

Thanks, I had alot of fun with the game, and the collectors edition was nice. Unfortunately this was another game shipped by Amazon that came squished, by Amazon seems to have a policy where if something you received is damaged, but sold out, they will issue a refund but still let you keep the item. Another that came like this was Bravely Default.

Thank you. The plush surprised me, I got it from a FYE with a gift card a while back, not paying much for it. Then one day I was bored and decided to look up its worth, and I was amazed it had went up so much. From then on I decided to keep it on my shelf, and not in my closet any longer.

Also GOD DAMN. You have one awesome collection, I hope to reach that magnitude some day.

I rarely see those on eBay, but it is nice having both. :)

I love the Dark Souls 2 one. The statue is sweeet in my opinion, but the pommel on one of the swords likes to come loose when I move the statue around. I was tempted to superglue it there, but then I risk damaging it, if it ever has to go back in storage. And the steelbook that came with it is one of my favorites.

*edit I see from another post explaining the difference that it is actually a metalpak. Sorry, still learning here.

Ha ha, I appreciate the sentiments. Yours is coming along rather nicely. Word of advice: the quicker you realize what exactly you want for your collection, the less money you waste. Ha! :lmao:

I just love them in general. I do have some favorite franchises, but I'll play almost everything except sports, and the realistic racing games. (Love me some burnout). I just get excited everytime a CE is announced, I have a bunch preordered thanks to this site, and i just started dabbling in imports, I had to have that Majoras mask, hopefully that works out alright.
