To be honest I don't think this one can transform to a car :(. Michael bay transformers design actually doesn't make sense.

Actually this should be around 250-290.

490 are usually their bigger size figures like REX and RAY

It isnt always bigger that costs more. I have some tk figures bigger than rex, but cost 100 less. Also some wwr bigger than ray and still 100 less. Size does count for something but I am wagering more $ as a result of the detail involved. Sub 300 would be fantastic though!

True, I remember I read somewhere before they have categories for their toys. REX and RAY was part of a category which consists of bigger sized, more detailed toys which are all around $500 price point. I couldn't find the category name again now :(

The level of details and size looks like it is similar to the Real Steel series which was around sub $300.

Yeap, I guess they are trying to milk it since it is transformers :P

I am very tempted... but fiance will not let me buy it since the price AND my apartment is out of space.

Dont remind me about RAY.....Had to pass it up. Still regretting it.

Still on sale in Sideshow :) REX is much better imo, You can't really pose RAY nicely without feeling the stand will snap anytime.
