Yesterday, late in the night, Square Enix have announced the Collector's Edition of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD.? The game is a remake of the series spin-off that originally launched on PlayStation Portable in Japan in 2011 which is making its way to PS4 and Xbox One in March 2015.

The $99.99 USD Collector's Edition of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD?will come in a nice Collector's Box with the following content, detailed by Square Enix, in addition to the game:

Golden Steelbook Case: Featuring illustrations by world-renowned artist Yoshitaka Amano, this premium case holds both the game and soundtrack CD

Composer's Selections Soundtrack: Includes 15 tracks hand-picked by the game's composer, Takeharu Ishimoto

Final Fantasy Type-0 Manga: A complete 200 page manga comic establishing the world and characters of the game

80 Page Art Book: Dive into the war-torn land of Orience through its illustrations and art renders

Ace's Cards: Five life-size replicas of the iconic cards held by Class Zero's Ace

Final Fantasy XV Episode Duscae Demo: Every copy of the Collector?s Edition includes a code for the FINAL FANTASY? XV playable demo. Be among the first to play the game with your order of FINAL FANTASY? TYPE-0 HD

I love how they used a little bit of my ideas and made a nice art book but I at least wished they'd put the entire soundtrack. I love it though!! ^_^

There is separate OST (normal and CE versions) and it's very good :bananayes:

no idea, but at least it's a new remake from a game that hasn't been released in the west AND it's probably the first jrpg on the Xbox One ;)

That's true, but these FF's are seeming less and less like "JRPGs" and more like action/adventure (with a few #s) cinematics or something. Hopefully they'll toss up a demo on XBL so I can check it out before deciding :D

tbh, I highly doubt that there will be the same ce twice with just different box arts. Also the picture with the plain art is from 4players... :rotf:

But maybe I'm wrong, we'll see.

That's actually a mistake on GAME's part. They are using the wrong image *tut tut* The CE you can buy from them has the clear plastic sleeve but it just has the standard game logo on the sleeve on the box. The artwork of the close up of the two Goddesses of Orience is the SE Store exclusive.

Steelbook Edition + 2 different collector's editions in Europe. (One CE come with an exclusive sleeve, with a unique artwork layout and deluxe print finish while the other one comes in a plain white box with just the logo.

i think Square Enix is taking a page out of Ubisoft's book with what they do with Assassins Creed..i think more Type-0 stuff will be announced since it's still 3 months away, and we still have ASIA regions and perhaps something more maybe in store for the US, also the US version of collectors edition can also be now ordered on GAMESTOP US as "on-line" only with a $10 additional mark up over MSRP.

So there's the limited edition steelbook edition, the collector's edition and the FR4ME limited edition (for NA & EU, that is)? Wondering how limited these limited editions are really going to be.
Ridiculous price for the limited edition steelbook.. around 75 euros and the CE is 100?!

To be honest, the FR4ME is not really worth the money. Not as nice as steelbook but I guess it is up you if you really want the frame.

I went for the main collectors and the game steelbook, but will sell off the GAME one later, keeping the steel. I didn't have to blow so much on the GAME version due to voucher code and points!

I have with SE EU Store never any problems.
I think people got problems in USA with delivery company...

It's fan made - as FF Type-0 was originally PSP game, most fans hoped PS Vita port/relase (not PS4/X1 one) ;)
