i saw today on the square enix US online store there is a "slot" pinned for a US Collectors edition of this game..they put in a placeholder pic and the listing inside the US square enix on-line store. because figurines are fragile..maybe they will offer a US version minus the figure.

This means, my pre-order code as well as the expansion code will NOT work for me as my account is not American. But at least i still get the physical items as there is currently no other way to get them. Why am i not more upset about my codes not going to work? Because i am also getting the game on PC digital deluxe. And that would be very difficult to get for the wrong region!

So far, my only ray of hope is the pre-order i already have with Square Enix America for the PS4 Collector's Edition. If i go ahead with that, the costs will go way up as i have to forward it to Australia AND purchase the standard edition for PS4 so i can play it on the PS4.

So much wanting a Europe or OMFG AUSTRALIAN pre-order as that would mean the codes in the Collector's Edition would actually WORK.

Keep in mind that i chose those based on the price to time ratio. You can get it dirt cheap... but it zig zags all over the world and takes up to a month.

And you can get even faster than what i chose... and you pay half as much again.

The difference is, compared to Heavensward's CE, ARR's CE was even cheaper for them to produce since it had to be with an unproven game. By making the CE super cheap, they ended up making way too many of them.

I doubt that will be the case with this one though.

We all know that Teledji Adeledji (sp) is and has been betraying Ul'dah for a long time now, almost flat out treason. But could it be more than that? Makes it sound like either the Scions or the city states themselves are betraying the Warrior of Light (the player). Which i dont see that being likely. What about the mysterious absence of Hydaelyn and the new character Midgardsormr? Hydaelyn betraying the player i dont see how since she was seen ''leaving'' the player to their own devices. And Middy i cant see either as you have to ally with someone to get to the point of being betrayed. And so far, we have never allied with him.

If you paid attention to the story, you would know that Y'shtola isnt exactly happy with the Grand Companies and their endless conflict against the beast tribes, when they themselves are the cause... but i could hardly see that as the driving force of her betraying the player.

Update - The reason i mention the above was that i ran into an error attempting to pre-order the Collector's Edition for Heavensward. Here is what happened:

I attempted to pre-order it right on the dot of 1pm and for whatever reason, it gave me an error message.

I tried again just in case and again, it failed and gave me an error message.

For a third time, i entered in all my details for a third attempt, all manual this time. Again, it failed.

To my utter shock and horror, the bloody thing charged my card THREE TIMES, once for each failed attempt. I called customer service and was told that ''not to worry, your money will be refunded to you in 1-2 weeks, apologies for the inconvenience and all''. Suffice to say, i was NOT at all pleased. I was out $150 for 2 weeks and no pre-order. Thanks EB Games Australia, thanks a bloody lot.

Just recently i got an email from someone at customer service and the following is what they said:
Hi mouseno4,

We are aware of some issues experienced with the preorder of the Heavensward Collector’s Edition that you attempted today on our website.

We have some good news – we can guarantee that we have a unit for you, which we will organise to have delivered to your local store for launch day.
