I decide to make a thread for all the faceplates for PS4 that I've seen and known.

I know there are some limited edition consoles with different color and faceplate, like the GTA 5 one from contest, but I will not include this kind of consoles on this thread as we have a thread for limited edition PS4s. I will only include different kinds of faceplate in this thread.

If you know something that I didn't list, please feel free to let us know in this thread :v:

First post will be Japanese ones, second post will be NA ones, and the third post will be the rest of the world.

The limited edition consoles I have on this list besides the FF Type 0 one come with a regular faceplate and the limited edition faceplate (I'm thinking about deleting the FF type 0 one from the list, but to me it's just a red console with a different faceplate) , the one like dragon quest one should be listed in the limited edition console thread :)

Marketing strategies are different, and I'm no expert on this. Luckily members here can help each other from different countries.

I believe in the future I'll need a post for EU faceplates

I'm still looking for it for you. It's very limited.

Sony only sold 200 of them (with console) on Taobao, and I'm not sure if they sold any from their own online store. They put it on their website for sale but PS4 got delayed back then, so I'm not sure if they cancelled those orders or not.

Let's hope it's not limited to 200

As a White PS4 owner, that is the only black faceplate i dont mind having. Still hoping Sony will release faceplates in different colors! :(

I think they will. I know the quantity for project skylight is limited, but I don't think it's that limited. Look how long it took for the order 1886 faceplate to be sold out

Imo they say that because it is the first time someone can own one, and when you look at the Ps logo on the U4 one, it's the same style as the previous ones sold by Sony! ;)

I post this kind of console here because it come with a regular black PS4 with a plain black faceplate and the special faceplate in a black box. So technically there's no limited edition console. Just a regular console with an extra faceplate.
